It was almost 7 p.m.  Helen just finished showering. As she toweled try dry her hair all she heard were the sound of traffic and evening rush over. That day was such a tiring day. But it was okay. All her effort and that man's sacrifice paid off. She won the case.

Thanks to that man.  Jack Reacher.

Helen threw herself on the couch and browsed channels on tv. She did not pay attention to what was on screen. Instead, she thought of Jack. She recalled the last time she saw him. He was drenched in rain, he had a cut on his cheeks, his jacket  was covered with dirt, and he looked awfully exhausted, but somehow, she still found him handsome.

Jack looked so fine.

His eyes stared straight at her, full of strength and also thoughtfulness, which she founfbeautiful. How she wished she could be with him for a longer time.

But then he bid his goodbye. Jack's work was over. They ffound the truth about The Zec and Emerson. And he killed them -- Jack interpretation of justice. James Barr was not guilty. Jack had no reason to stay anymore. He turned his back and walk away acting like she never needed him at all.

But she did. She always did.

Helen would never understand a man who preffered to be alone. Maybe because there was a part of her that wanted to be...with him.

She changed the channel of the tv when her phone suddenly rang. She picked it up.

It was her dad.

Lowering the volume of the T.V., she answered. "Yes, Dad...?"

"Helen, why did you go home so early?"

"I'm really sorry, I was kind of.." she paused and let out a sigh. "You know, tired."

"Oh, okay .I was thinking of we can have a dinner together, like a celebration, I haven't  treated my beloved daughter for a long time."

She heard him make a half-hearted laugh.

"That's not bad," She smiled,.

"Good." She heard the sound of flipping pages. "Here. I found a good restaurant. Jot down the address."

"Okay, wait" She stood and tottered towards her table. She gradually picked a pen and her pad of white paper notes. "Okay…?"

"Here's the address..."

Her dad kept telling her the address but she wasn't listing anything. Her head was preoccupied.of that familiar all capital handwriting on the top page of her pad notes.

Helen froze.

HEY, I'LL MEET YOU TOMORROW AT MY OLD APARTMENT AT 7 P.M.

LET'S HAVE SOME DRINK. I'LL TREAT YOU AS PAYMENT FOR WHAT I DID TO YOUR BELOVED CAR.

DON'T BE LATE.

- JACK

"...len? Hellen?"

"Y-yes dad?" She rubbed her temple.

"Have you listed the address?"

"Uh...could you tell me again? I'm not sure if I wrote the write address."

His dad grunted, "Never mind. I'll just pick you up after work. How's that?"

Helen tapped her pen on the note and smiled. "Dad?"

"Yes?"

"I have an appointment tomorrow evening. Can we move our dinner the night after tomorrow?"

"Oh, okay."

Cheeks flushing, Helen smiled again.
