Technology has progressed tremendously after the discovery of mana and the use of magic in the early pre-modern era, humans ended with eight world wars after the sudden resurface of other worldly species and monsters the world in 30XX was left with only 22 habitable countries. Other places were filled with either too many high ranked monsters or that the climate is too difficult to live.
