A A A A

In the Realm of Gods & Goddesses there are famous Gods such as Zeus God of the Sky, Hera Goddess of Marriage, Mothers, and Families, Poseidon God of the Sea and Demeter Goddess of Agriculture. Now everyone has practically heard of Zeus's son Hercules. One of the strongest of all the Gods in the Realm. A hero no less. Yet there are other descendants of other Gods whose stories have not been told. This one happens to be about the Goddess of Fire. Xyleah (Leah for short) is the daughter of Athena the Goddess of War. When Xyleah was born it was one of the grandest days in the Realm of the Gods for her mother immediately held a huge crestining, with the help of Hera and Aphrodite Goddess of Love and Beauty of course. All the Gods and Goddesses in the Realm were given an invitation. And each one was in attendance. They held the festivities in the center of the city so everyone could see. Xyleah was given lots of love and praise from everyone around her, which brought a smile to the newborns face. Athena even asked Aphrodite to be Xyleahs Godmother, in which she graciously accepted. As Xyleah grew her mother and uncle Ares skilled her in the ways of War. Xyleah was a natural when it came to the arts of War. Though she found it boring when Athena made her sit and listen she never complained. Not only did Xyleah take an interests in War like her mother and uncle obviously did, she took a strong liking to music and so she loved spending time with Apollos daughter Apalla. The two loved to sing together and both had beautiful, melodic singing voices. She was also friends with Aphrodites daughter Amethyst. Amethyst was just like her mother, she loved the idea of love and was breathtakingly beautiful. She and Xyleah obviously became quick friends since their mothers were friends and each others Godmothers. Amethyst was basically the sister Xyleah never had. Xyleah also found out that she had a power to shoot fire from out her hands. Over the years she'd learned to control it, so if she ever got upset she wouldn't burn anyone. Though if she ever did get in a fight she never lost a single one. She was the daughter of Athena.

The sun shone through the window of a huge bedroom. There was some red hair poking out from under the covers. As the covers were ripped off Xyleah sat up and stretched. She was in a white laced gown which went perfectly with her caramel ebony skin. She got up and headed over to her bathroom to take a shower. Getting out and looking at herself in the mirror she took a brush through her hair. Rummaging through her drawer underneath the sink she pulled out her flat iron. Straightening her hair she looked closer at herself. Amethyst always told Xyleah that she was very beautiful without make up. She believed her and therefore never wore it, plus she was not wrong. Xyleah walked out her bathroom and went to her boudior. She took out a pair of dark blue skinny jeans and a white lace top, with black leather boots. Even though the Realm of the Gods seems like a very spiritual place they all dress practically like any other person. She sprits on a bit of lilac perfume, taking a nice slow deep breath. Xyleah always needed to clear her head before going to school. She walked down the winding staircase from her room to the living room. Her mother Athena was in the kitchen cooking breakfast. Pancakes with bacon & eggs was her ultimate favorite breakfast in the morning. "Xyleah, breakfast is ready!" Athena called out to her. Xyleah came into the kitchen with a smile on her face.

"So how did you sleep?" Athena asks as she places a plate of food in front of Xyleah. Today was the last day of school at Olympus High. Athena was sure that Xyleah would be a bit nervous. Because then Graduation would be next. Then after that is Coronation Day. The day each graduate follows their own destiny. She'd been training Xyleah to be a Goddess of War since she was born, both her and her brother Ares couldn't wait for the big day. Xyleah takes a pancake off the stack, and takes a bite before answering. She honestly didn't know how to feel about this. On one side she was really excited but on the other she was so nervous. Of course she knew this day would eventually come, it just felt so unreal now that it was here. "I slept alright." She says taking a sip of orange juice. "Good." Athena says with a smile. Xyleah was about to say something when a knock came at the door. "It's open!" Athena called out. Apalla came through the front door with a huge smile on her face, she hugged Xyleah tightly. "Are you ready for today?" She asked with obvious excitement. Xyleah smiles a little awkwardly and nods "Of course I am." She stands up and grabs her backpack off the table. "See you later mom."
