Plants and insects like to whisper in her ear

They try to make her look queer

Plants and insects are stabbed into art

To make sure that they will never start

 

Visions of talking flowers and creatures

Nightmares of abnormal features

Haunt her mind every day and night

Til it starts to get to her mind

 

Monsters appear before her eyes

Coming in every shape and size

They scare her, making her squeal

So she thinks they’re actually real

 

They say she’s crazy, mental

Trying not to sound judgemental

They say she’s madness, insane

But compared to them, she is the same

 

She’s different, seeing things others can’t

She’s special, but they all misunderstand

She’s exceptional, envisioning things her own way

She’s unique, but she’ll never fit in anyway
