Day 13

Without realizing, Alana had been pregnant for 3 months. Even she herself could clearly see that her stomach was too much to hide. What's worst was that her bra didn't even fitted her anymore! She remembered the other day where she had struggle all her might to get it fitted well. But to her avail, she really needs a new bra.

To be exact, a bigger one. The drastic changes in her mood also effect on her day. At one time, she would be so nice where she would hummed here and there while doing house chores. And sometimes Willy was the only victim where she could threw her little tantrum at.

At first, Willy didn't understand her mood swings but as he grew closer day by day to her, he realized it was one of the pregnancy symptoms. He didn't blame her at all. It's his fault that she had their baby.

How grateful was it for Willy and Ian that his wedding and gotten Alana pregnant news had not reach his parents. Not that he's being a coward about it. He simply didn't want any drama. He don't need anything either form them. Willy owned his own money because he inherited part of his grandparents property. 

Willy had drove Alana to the hospital for her first check up. He had to force the stone-headed Alana to went there. It's the only opportunity for him to bring her there. Alana was so afraid to get the doctor examined. All those freak thoughts disturbed her imagination and expectation.

As the two of them being called to get to meet the doctor, Alana clutched on his sleeve as if her life line depended on him. Right when she stepped into the room, the smelles of the medicines almost made her choke. It's sickening her. She didn't like how bitter it smelled like.

Alana was like a lost puppy who's afraid of losing her master as she tailing behind him. Willy took her hands as he led her to one of the chairs that had provided. Dr Megan smiled as she watched Willy led Alana to the chair. She can't help but think it was a cute gestured of them two.

"Hello Alana." Dr. Megan started as she showed her a bright smile to her. Alana smiled meekly as she glanced back and forth to the blue eyes woman in front of her and Willy. Alana realized that Dr. Megan's eyes was so beautiful that she felt enchanted by it. 

"Wow," she bluntly said in amazement. Dr. Megan was startled. "You got a beautiful pairs of eyes." She beamed. Willy almost laughed at her for being so blunt. But Dr. Megan just put her hands on top of Alana's as she uttered a small 'Thanks'. 

"So you're pregnant?" The doctor started. Alana seemed hesitated as she nodded slightly. "How many months?" As the woman scribbled something on her appointment card. Alana metally started to count. She felt stupid of not knowing how long had she have the baby inside her stomach.

"More or less than 3 months." Willy answered for her. "I see. Have you ever make any appointment before?" The blue eyes woman asked as she continued scribbled something on the card. Willy and Alana looked at each other and answered in unison, "No."

That's when Dr. Megan finally looked away from the card as an interesting smiled formed on her lips. "Would you want to make a baby scan? I'll meet you in 5 minutes on next room." Dr. Megan said one last time before she left Alana and Willy.

Eventually, Willy and Alana went to a room which located next to the consultancy room. She was told by one of the nurse to lie on her back. She took her step as Willy helped her. Willy was like he had prepared everything to be a dad. Alana can't believed that he had been helping her for all this time. 

She watched as the lad helped her lie on her back. Dr. Megan made her comeback again as she took a jelly cream from her assistant. "I'll put this on you." She said as she lifted Alana's shirt a little till right under her chest. Alana could feel the cold air and the jelly being applied on her tummy. 

"Okay," Dr. Megan said as she threw a small smile to Alana. She washed her hands before continue again. A few seconds later, the blue eyes lass took a baby scanner as she her assistant helped her pushed the screen to their view. Right when the scanner rolled on her stomach, Alana could heard the sound of heart beating. 

Then, she heard Willy emitted a small gasped. Alana almost panicked by him when she saw the screen. "Congratulation! You've got twins, Mrs. Chen." Dr. Megan said.

Alana couldn't believed her eyes. TWINS? The big word written in all caps lock on her mind. She felt her stomach churned ever so much. "Twins?" She questioned slightly baffled.

Dr. Megan turned to her, "Yes. But there are still so small so it's hard for me to see the genders." Alana felt the urged for her hands to creep up to her stomach but halted when she remembered there are still scanning her tummy.

Willy was too dazed as he stared blankly at the small screen. It's so clear that he could see two foetus with arms, legs, nose and even fingers. He didn't and had not expect something like this. Maybe it was a bless from the God. He silently thanked God for giving him such a precious gift.

The appointment almost took more than an hour as they also received some advise from the doctor. Alana grew curious, Kyle had told her that he would be there too. The thing was, till that moment she had not even see his nose. 

She grew alarmed. Her heart palpitated madly as she saw the last person on her mind right a few steps ahead of hers. Alana was ready to run for her life when that person called after her. "Alana?"

NO!, she screamed inwardly. It was crazy how she even thought of just running away but she can't. She halted as she made an awkward spun. A foolish grinned formed on her lips. "H-Hey, C-Cara." She greeted back unsure of her decision.

Cara sauntered towards her as she threw Alana a weird and curious expression. "What are you doing here? It's the MOMMA's section here." Cara emphasized ever so loud on the MOMMA sentence. Alana bit her cheeks inwardly as she pray so Willy won't appear any moment for the time being. 

"I-I was-I was----" Alana stammered crazily. Too obvious, Cara saw it all. Her stomach. Cold sweats started to form on Alana's forhead. "...Are you... pregnant?" Cara asked as she ignored all Alana's effort trying to cover it all up. If Alana is blunt, Cara is even blunt to the level where she won't even think twice before proceeding. 

Alana didn't bare to look into her friend's eyes. She stared at her feet as she stood face to face to her. "Oh my GOD." Cara gasped loudly. Cara had never thought that Alana would did such disgraceful thing.

Cara covered her mouth with her hands. Right at that moment, like a bad misfortune, Willy walked out as he held a paper bag consisted of all Alana's pregnancy supplement. "Alana, the doctor told you to take this twice-" Willy halted.

Cara had already stared at him as if he's the alien there. Cara darted her eyes towards Alana and back to Willy. Willy the guy she had a big crush and in love with had made one of her rival in class pregnant? And even worse, Cara saw the ring on Willy's finger. She couldn't believe her eyes. 

"W-What the... hell?" Cara whispered in agony. She can't ever tore her eyes from both of them. A pure clear tears fell from her eyes. Alana immediately felt guilty. Everyone knows how much Cara loves Willy. Alana didn't meant to do so. 

Slowly, Cara retreated backward as she shook her head in disbelieved. She's ashamed. Ashamed that she had been in love with someone that didn't even care about her. Someone that's going to be a father and even worse, a husband of her own friend. 

Alana wanted to chase after her but she can't. All that both of them can do were just standing there in hopeless. Cara figured disappeared quite quick than she usually walk. Willy approached Alana in silent. 

"Let's... go." He stated and the two of them strode back to car. Alana can't cover her feelings that well. She was too honest to be true. All she could do was sat there in silent feeling more than a guilty. 

Only then she realized she actually got a text from Kyle. Kyle had texted her that he won't made it there as he'll need to go with his mom to the town.

When they reached home, awkward tension filled the air. Neither one of them dare to talk to each other. Alana stalked in to the kitchen as she took chocolates from the fridge. Maybe she's depressed. Or maybe it was the pregnancy symptoms again.

"Are you hungry?" Alana almost jumped at his voice which popped out of nowhere. She patted her chest as she let out a loud sighed.

"Oh, sorry." Willy scratched his head blankly.

Alana turned to him. "Can we call pizza instead of having rice or anything?"

Willy shrugged. "Anything for you."

Alana wanted to punched him badly. It wasn't for me DUDE! It's the babies inside wants it. She rolled her eyes when Willy turned around to make phone call for the pizza. 

Dumbly, Alana munched on the chocolate nougat as she watched '500 Days of Summer'. She watched as the man character being a dumb for still chasing after the woman even when she had married.  

Alana snorted. "Look at him. Pfft!" She's was frustrated at how the main guy being a dumb. Willy good-naturely shrugged. He patted her head as he smiled warmheartedly.

With her eyebrows knitted together, Alana ducked her head away. She's having her movie times and there's no way someone would disturb her. But Willy just laughed her off. Its irked her off. She grumbled lowly. 

Not long after the movie ended, their pizzas came. Mostly, Alana ate the pizzas. Willy would only let her so as he watched the young woman in front of him whom carried his babies. As clichê as it sounds, that's a fact.

When the two of them were lying on the bed, the silent weirdly fitted their scene. Her eyes watched as infinite of stars in the sky. As much as she wanted to share the news of the babies with her grandma, she lied there in silent. Her eyes darted continuously to each of the stars. 

She could sense that Willy was stargazing too. At the thought of his family, her expression immediately changed. 

She watched his every movement. Her heart shattered into pieces of the thought losing him. She can't imagined her life without him. Not when she have nothing at all, penniless. Her lips quivered. As though he could hear her mind, Willy turned to her.

Although the room was dark, Willy could clearly see her lips quivered. He consciously grew worried. "Hey..." he scooted closer to her but Alana held out her one hand out as she shook her head. "N-No... Don't come nearer." She broke her voice that was clearly in tears.

Willy halted but his intuition told him to touch her. He helplessly pulled his hands back. "Alana, what's wrong? Are you mad at me for letting Kyle find out about us? Or Cara?"

Alana shook her head eagerly. "No. You did nothing wrong... I-I'm such a fool thinking that you will stay by my side like for ever, Willy. I'm helpless, penniless and nothing. And-And-" Alana cried out her feelings. Willy can't help anymore, he took that moment to engulf her into his embraced. 

"Oh, Alana. Shh.. I won't leave you." he stroked her hair lightly and planted a kiss on top of her head. Never had the thought of him leaving her crossed his mind. All that he knows was that he loves being with her. He loves all the attention she gave to her even if it was the cold shoulder she's giving. 

Willy felt like he was given the greatest gift of all. Something that was more than he had ever wanted. "What makes you think that I'll leave you, sweetheart?" He kissed her sincipot lightly like she's the precious of all.

Alana tilted her head upwards as she looked at him, "I... Don't know. What if your family found out about us?"

Willy swatted her bangs away. "Let them be. I promised not to leave you, didn't I?"

Alana nodded. "So, I won't. Mark my word, sweetheart." There he went the lovey-dovey Willy. Even he himself had never thought of him being all cheesy with the lovey-dovey thingy. Somehow, he did it involuntary for Alana. Only Alana.

Alana softened. She leaned against his chest. At that moment, she could clearly heard the cound of his heartbeating. Strangely, his heart beating wasn't normal. Not like how she is. 

She blinked and tilted her head up again, "Why was your heart beating so fast?"

Willy blinked twice before he broke into a lovely smile. "Because you're near it. The heart detected it's favourite well."

Alana scrunched up her nose as she spurted a snort. He joined her laugh as he pinched her nose in between his fingers. Alana felt like she's showered by love. What she didn't know was that he's sincere. He's giving her the hint. The hint that he's falling for her. Yet, to Alana it was just another boy friend's love.

She once again leaned her head against his chest. She enjoyed how she felt warmness she got. She secretly loves it everytime he would pampered her. Maybe it was because Alana never had a male's pampered. Or maybe he makes her felt she's the most wanted person. 

He rubbed her back lightly as them two laid in complete silent. "I thought angels had wings." He had been using pick-up lines!

Alana bit his arm. "Ouch!" Willy squeaked as her bit stung. Alana rolled her eyes ever so dramatic.

"Can you effing stop it? You're too cheezy." But all Willy did was just laughing at her. He loves her reaction. He loves the way she reacted to how he's being cheezy. What he didn't know was that he actually affected her. She could feel the butterfies in her stomach. As much as she hated the pick-up lines, she think pick-up lines suited someone like him.

Until the night fall silent, she eventually dozed off. Willy joined after she did. They sleep in total silence with the sky and stars above them, watching the two in each others embrace.

Hola amigos! The exam are in two weeks now on and I'm seriously didn't did the revision yet. Homework was too hard to handle. Anyway, xoxo :*
