A A A A

"You dont mean to tell me, there's a fairy in this room", Wendy says. "We come to listen to the stories. I like the one about the prince who couldn't find the lady, who wore glass slippers", Peter says. As he says this he is over by a little table looking for Tink in a box. "Cinderella", Wendy says. Tink stomps on the bottom of the drawer till a little slit opens up. "Peter he found her and they....and they...", Wendy says. Peter looks at her expectantly. "Lived happily ever after", Wendy says. "I knew it", Peter says. "Peter. I should like to give you...a...thimble", Wendy says. "What's that?", Peter asks. Wendy leans towards Peter. Tink can't control her anger and burst out of the drawer from the bottom towards Wendy. Peter was also leaning in his lips puckered. Tink yanks Wendy's hair. "Ahhhh!", Wendy says. Peter opens his eyes in shock. "Tiiiinnnnkkkk!", Peter says. Tink hits Wendy's head against Wendy's bed poles. "Tink, Tink no!", Peter says. He moves toward them. Peter grabs Tink off of Wendy's hair and throws her on Wendy's pillow. Tink stands and begins to make different motions with her hands. "She's not very polite. She says if you try to give me a thimble again", Peter says. Tink grabs her hair and pulls her head sideways and sticks out her tongue. "She'll kill you", Peter says. He says it with a shrug. "Well, I had supposed fairies to be charming", Wendy says. Tink moons Wendy. "Bye bye", Tink says. She flies over to the window with Peter following. "Peter don't go", Wendy says. Peter stops by the window. "I have to tell the others about Cinderella", Peter says. "But I know lots of stories. Stories I could tell the boys.", Wendy says. Tink gasps seeing Peters face. She flies towards his ear to tell him to come on. "Come with me", Peter says. He pushes Tink away from his ear. "I cannot fly", Wendy says. "I'll teach you. I'll teach you to ride the winds back, and away we go", Peter says. As he says this he holds Wendy's hand pulling her towards the window. Wendy pulls away. "Can John and Michael come too?", Wendy asks. Peter looks at the two of them asleep. He turns to Wendy and smiles. Wendy runs to shake them awake. "Michael, John, John!", Wendy says. "I didn't do it", John says. Wendy smiles and turns towards Peter. "There is a boy here to teach us to fly!", Wendy says. Peter smiles. John sits up in his bed. "You offend reason sir", John says. "Mhmm",Michael says. Peter begins to fly upward and then pretends to gasp in shock as if he had no clue he knew how to do that. Peter lands on the railing at the end of John's bed. "I should like to offend it with you.", John says. John and Michael hop out of their beds. "You just think happy thoughts and they lift you into the air", Peter says. He flies around the ceiling. "It's easy", Peter says. "I've got it! I've got it!", John says. He stands up on his bed. " Swords, daggers, Napolean", John says. He says this while running on his bed and jumping off. "Yahooo! Ahhh!", John says. He falls into the little doll house. "John", Wendy says. Tink laughs at him. Then Peter grabs Tink and sprays some of her fairy dust on him. John begins to fly. "Wendy! Wendy watch me!", Michael says. He does the same as John. "Puddings, mud pies, icecream, never to take a bath again", Michael says. "Michael!", Wendy says when he leaps through the air. But Peter does not let him fall he sprays the dust on him while he is in the air. Nana down in the backyard is barking. Wendy looks up at her brothers smiling. Then she turns around and Peter is behind her. He blows some fairy dust from his hand in her face. She smiles. Then he smiles looks down then looks back up. Wendy looks down and notices that she is off the ground. Wendy laughs. Nana still outside barking. Peter lands on the window sill. "Come away. Come away to neverland.", Peter says. "Oh. What about mother?", Wendy says. "Father?", John says. "Nana?", Michael says. Peter looks up at them. "There are mermaids", Peter says. "Mermaids!", Wendy says. "Indians", Peter says. "Indians", John and Michael say in unison. "Pirates", Peter says. "Pirates", John and Michael say in unison. Nanas chain brakes and she is at the back door scratching. "Yahoo!", John says. He flies out the window. "John wait for me", Michael says. Nana gets out of the backyard and runs to find Mr. and Mrs. Darling. At the party Sir Edward and a group of people were talking and laughing. George came towards them and began to laugh with them. Sir Edward and the group stop laughing and turn towards him. "Uhh this is my wife. Uhh", George says. "Mary", Mary says. "Mary", George says. "Mary. Delighted", Sir Edward says. "Thank you Sir Edward", Mary says. There is screaming when the door burst open and Nana runs in. George turns and Nana runs into him. The curtain in the nursery moves to the side revealing Peter. He flies off the window sill then turns towards Wendy whos back is to the window. He comes towards her and whispers in her ear. "Forget them Wendy. Forget them all. Come with me where you'll never, never have to worry about grown up things again", Peter says. The down stairs door flew open. Mr. and Mrs. Darling ran up the stairs with Nana leading. "What is it what's wrong?", Aunt Millicent asks. She called after them as they were running upstairs. "Never. Is an awfully long time", Wendy says. Mr. and Mrs.Darling are running down the hall. Peter smiles at Wendy. She smiles back. It would be delightful to report that they reach the nursery in time. Mr. and Mrs. Darling run into the nursery. The children are gone and Nana is barking at the window. But then there would be no story.
