"Hurry up!" a plump woman called out. Maids were running about the Beast castle. The woman was none other then Ms.Potts the head maid. Ms.Potts is the teapot from Beauty and the Beast fairy tale. And even though the curse on Beast castle was gone, Ms.Potts still seemed to resemble the teapot she was. "Make sure ththose windows are sparkling clean!" Ms.Potts says to the other maids. "The princess will be here."  Though it was hard in fact to say who the princess was. Ms.Potts was well aware that this princess was special. Even more special then King Ben himself. The maids scurried about doing everything they possibly could. After all it was the princesses birthday.

Mal was asleep in her bed. Her soft bed in her school dorm. She awoke with a start. She breathes heavily as she tries to recover from the nightmare she just had. Ever since the coronation and choosing good over evil, she's had these terrible nightmares. Well nightmares is the literal term for what's happening but to Mal, it seemed like a premonition. To Mal it seemed as if all these nightmares were a sign for what's to come. They were all mostly about her mother, Maleficent. Mistress of Evil. It was Mals fear that she would come back. Mal tried to think better of what had happened on coronation day. Yes her mother almost killed her and her friends, and Mal ended up defeating her. But it isn't like Maleficent to give up. Mal knows that much. Mal then noticed that Evie was working on an outfit. Like always Evie looked amazingly stunning. Evie looked up from her outfit and Mal turns away clearing her throat. "Morning E." Mal says getting out of bed. Evie sighs not saying morning back. The sigh was almost sad. Evie looked at Mal with kind eyes. "Another nightmare?" Evie asks, even though she knew she didn't need to. Mal sighed as well. Evie knew her so well. It was hard to believe they weren't real sisters. Mal nods slowly looking down at her hands. "Yea I had another." Mal says trying not to think back to it. This one had seemed extra scary. Evie finishes a stitch in the outfit she was making which turned out to be purple. Evie smiles holding it up. "Hey Mal, what do you think?" Evie asks. Mal looks up at the outfit and her eyes widen. It was a nice blouse and skirt. It was perfect. Mal smiled as she headed over to Evie to get the outfit. "Thanks Evie." Mal says as she feels the fabric of the outfit. Evie nods. "No problem, happy birthday." Evie says. Mals eyes widen again as she realizes she's 17 today. Wow. 17. But because of Maleficents big deal about parties, Mal had never had one. Mal nods. "Thanks." Mal heads oover to put the outfit away. Evie is still smiling brightly. "You have to go to Beast castle today." Evie says standing from her sewing station. Mal looks at Evie. "Yea I know. I'm gonna head over now." Evie comes over with some blush and gloss. Mal doesn't resist Evies touch ups anymore. She had gotten so used to it. Evie finished and had Mal look in the mirror to see how beautiful she looked before she could leave. Mal smiled and walked out the room.

Ben was in the library reading with his mmother. Belle and Ben both shared a love of books. It was how they bonded. The day just seemed to be ststarting for Ben. Although he was now king he didn't have to do as much as his father lead on. Belle looks over at Ben and smiles intently. "She'll be surprised to see what you put together for her." Belle says as if to reassure him. Ben looked up from his book. "I hope she does." Ben smiles. Belle nods placing her right hand on his left. "She will. I know it."

Mal approaches the castle in a limo. Not much like a princess would ride in a limo to a castle, but Mal was no ordinary princess. When the driver opened the limo door, Mal got out and looked up at Beast castle. She had only been to the castle on coronation day and hadn't been back since. But Ben invited her to come. Mal walked up the steps of the palace, the guards bowing as she walked past them. Mal just smiled as the two guards at the back of the line of guards opened the front door. When Mal walked in she was treated with cheers from everyone in the castle. Mal blushed red which she usually doesn't do. "Mal! You came!" A familiar voice says. Mal looks into the crowd to see Ben. Ben had a huge smile on his face. Mal blushed more as Ben gave her a huge hug. "Glad your here." Ben says. Mal nods. "Me to." Mal smiles. Mal looked around at everything. "Thanks for inviting me." Mal says. Ben nods. "No problem. Happy birthday."
