A A A A

One.

It was time.

I got up and went straight to take a quick shower. The only thing I had in mind was just the sympathy and pain I had for the next victim I was going to abduct. I never liked doing this, but there isn't anything I could do about it.

I quickly got out of the shower, and ran out of the bathroom putting on my uniform. The uniform policy was to wear black leather jeans, black shoes, a bullet proof vest underneath a black hoodie and a white mysterious mask. We all had our own guns and weapons. I had a pistol, and a sniper.

Ring. Ring.

The alarms went on, meaning that it was time to go downstairs and form a line.

I quickly placed my mask on, and my hood on and left my bedroom to go form a line downstairs with the rest. It was crowded downstairs. There were people all over the place.

The sirens went on.

Everyone quickly formed a line, and stood quiet.

"Attention players. Tonight is the night where we go and welcome new comers to be a part of our nation and to our secret service. I'm going to announce this year's players," the government announced.

I gulped down a bit of my saliva, shaking.

"Jackson.. Kelvin.. Jeffrey.. Mathew.. Josh.. Caesar..Melvin..Oscar.." the government went down his list of players.

I was starting to calm down, and started to shake less than before because I thought my name wasn't going to be chosen. I took a deep breath, and let it out.

"Max, and Erik," he finished naming the players.

I immediately looked up facing the government, and began shaking. I wasn't scared. I just feel like I'll lose my mind if I continue abducting and having that guilt towards the people I abduct. It wasn't a good feeling.

"All your rides are ready to go. Whenever you're ready. Good luck!" the government last stated, and walked away.

I slowly walked towards the vehicle I was meant to take and I was ready to leave.

"What if we don't want to keep doing this?" Josh asked, and tried rebelling for a moment.

Then one of the agents pointed their pistol towards Josh's head, and said, "Then you're no use to us."

Bang.

"Anybody else wants to die?" he asked.

I entered the vehicle, and they locked the door for me. The driver started the car, and began driving. I had no idea where I was going at or who the victim was going to be, but I was shaking. I didn't even bother asking the driver where we were heading at. I just stood quiet and still and looked out the window and kept staring at the moon. The moon, it always reminded me of the last person who died because of me. He wanted to escape, and I was trying to help him escape, but just when the government found him suspicious of something, he shot him on the neck.

I can still see his face and pain in my thoughts. It haunts me. The guilt feeds on me.

The car began slowing down so I noticed we just arrived to our destination.

"Your next victim, Cameron, lives in this house. From the looks of it, he's still not asleep because his bedroom lights are still on. I'll be waiting right here. Good luck!" the driver said, and placed his shades on.

"Okay, got it," I responded, and got off the car.

I quietly walked towards the house, and sneaked down on the bushes to get a better view inside the window. I slowly and quietly peaked through the window, and saw him walking to the bathroom. So I went to the backyard, and tried opening the back door, but it was locked. So I snatched my pistol out and shot the door.

Boom.

I kicked the door open and rushed inside the bedroom, and I saw him run out of the bathroom with a frightened facial expression.

"Who are you? What are you doing in my house?" he asked, startled.

"Cameron, you're going with me," I said, and walked towards him.

Then he quickly rushed back inside the bathroom and locked himself in, and yelled, "Who are you and what do you want with me? HELP!"

"Stop playing games and open the door," I said, calmly.

"I'm calling the cops if you don't leave right now," he responded, frightened.

"Open the damn door, damn it," I shouted.

"No," he yelled back.

I lost my patience so I quickly kicked the door open and broke the door knob. Then I walked inside the bathroom and found him hiding inside the shower, and I walked towards him. But then he closed the shower door and began holding it still.

"Open the door or else when I get in there I'll do more than just take you," I suggested, impatiently.

"I'm not going to open the damn door so just leave or else I'll call the police. I mean it," he shouted with a shaking tone.

"Well, you asked for it," I said.

I snatched my pistol out and shot the glass through, and grabbed his arm and pulled him out. He smacked me across the face with his free hand, and began socking me until I placed my pistol away and grabbed his other hand. I pinned him right against the wall, and stared at him struggle.

"Stop moving and go with me the easy way. I don't want to hurt you," I said.

"Then why are you here? Leave me alone. What do you want from me?" he insisted and kept fighting. "Let go."

"I can't do that," I responded, seriously.

"Well.. You asked for it," he said, and kicked me right on the balls.

"Agh, you little fucker," I mumbled, and bent down for a second.

He ran straight to the door rushing to the exit, but I sucked the pain up and chased after him. He was pretty fast, I'll admit that, but wasn't as fast as I was. I eventually caught up to him outside the back door where I jumped on top of him, and landed on the ground on top of him.

"Ah, get off of me, HELP," he shouted, and tried escaping.

I grabbed him on the wrist with one hand, and with the other hand I had free I just shut his mouth up so he wouldn't wake up the neighbors and walked him to the car. He was kind of pulling a fight, and he was doing everything to try to escape, but I threw him inside the car and locked the door.

The driver began driving, and I sat beside Cameron and felt guilty.

"Where the fuck are you taking me at?" Cameron asked with an upset tone.

"Somewhere. Just be quiet and you won't get hurt," I mumbled and faced my window.

"No, I need to know now. Where the fuck are you taking me at?" Cameron shouted, devastated.

"Be quiet," I said once again.

"I'm talking to you, you bastard. Where the fuck are you taking me at?" Cameron shouted, and grabbed my arm and began punching me.

He was starting to annoy me so I reacted, and I grabbed his arms and pinned him down on the car seats. Then I got on top of him and made him shut his mouth up.

"Listen to me very clearly. I'll advice you to learn how to shut that mouth of yours up and stop questioning what your orders are because if you keep it up then it will get you killed," I said, seriously.

He looked startled at first, but then his eyes began looking directly into mines. No one has ever looked directly into my eyes before. His eyes didn't seem to look at another direction, but towards me. His eyes were bright and shiny. It looked just as bright as the moon at night. I looked down and took a glance of his lips. They were light pink like pink lemonade.

I looked back up at his eyes, and he was still staring at me directly in the eyes. I felt like my heart began pounding harder as I stared right back at his eyes.

So I got off of him, and said, "Well, I hope you take my advice, and do what you're told too."

I stopped talking, and faced the window.

What was that? I thought to myself. For a moment I felt like I couldn't stop staring at his eyes. I felt paralyzed, and it was as if I couldn't move anything, but my eyes. But there was something about him that made me feel a certain way I've never felt before.

He's just another victim, nothing else. I thought to myself, and kept staring at the moon.

"Okay.. I'll stop asking you questions if you just tell me what are you planning to do with me?" Cameron asked.

I could see him staring at me from his reflection on the window so I turned around to look at him, and said, "It's not what I'm going to do with you, it's what they are going to do with you. I'm not in charge of you. My duty was just to abduct you and bring you back to the campus."

He looked worried, and began shaking.

"Are they going to hurt me?" Cameron asked, worried.

"No.. They're going to train you. They're going to teach you stuff about the secret service and by the end of the year there will be a final exam where you'll have to prove yourself you're useful and worthy to become an agent for the secret service," I briefly explained.

"What if you fail the test?" Cameron asked, curiously and worried.

"Once they notice that you're starting to fail, they'll kill you at the spot," I explained, seriously.

His eyes got bigger after I explained everything to him. I knew he was frightened and worried, I could tell by the look of his face. I pitied him.

The car began slowing down and finally it stopped.

"We're here," the driver said, and unlocked the doors.

"What are they going to do with me? They're going to kill me, right? Right? Don't lie to me please," Cameron began panicking.

I looked out of the window, and saw everyone dragging their victims out and throwing them on the ground. Then they all began getting on top of them and it was like they were raping them on the spot.

"Okay, look. I'll try to help you, but I'm going to need you to trust me and I'm going to need you to obey every order I give you. Do you understand?" I said, and looked at him directly in the eyes.

"Okay," he responded, shaking.

"Okay then. Let's go," I responded.
