Foreword

With the drugs burning in his system and golden eyes dazedly looking at you, he asked “Why did you fall for me?”You look at him, the same drugs inside his system igniting a flame in your veins, making him look sharper and duller at the same time, and you hear yourself say matter-of-factly, “I didn’t.” You watch his eyebrows knit together and you had to stifle your laughter because you found his reaction funny, even though there was nothing even remotely entertaining in this scenario.

“I didn’t,” you repeat, clarifying. “I didn’t fall. I chose this. I stepped into this. I made the decision to love you.” And then there was nothing else to be said because he crashed his lips unto yours and the igniting flame in your veins burned bright as the feel of his tongue touched your mouth.
