You are able to pick a 30 minute click air tour that will take you to the Northern Rim and then groups back to the South Rim, or you can book a longer, 50-minute flight that covers the same ground, but gives on a leg to the eastern edge of the park. You'll see much more on the longer tour, so book it if you can, and you'll fly over 75 percent of the playground. These tours are convenient from almost all of the main metropolitan areas in Arizona, but if you are in Vegas, you could tour the South Casing if you add on an hour flight from Las vegas to Tusayan first. An individual can even upgrade these air tours to add a Jeep excursion through the park. The ground tour lasts about two hrs, and that is plenty of time to take in the highlights of the South Rim. Likely to have some amazing photography ops during your trip due to magnificent scenery you may to see.
