“...Why am I finding it so hard to believe you? I want to really...I do...but..” she sighed “..You’re so pretty...and sweet....and fun...and I just know...that.... I know love him. I mean he’s still...” she looked up at me and I could clearly see the fear and worry in her eyes

“of course I do, I do love him...I adore him...” I smiled softly “But I’m not in love with him, and those are two very different things. Like you said, he is, and he always will be” I grabbed her hands I leaned in a bit “Please trust me when I say that there is no way that I could ever fall in love with him” I squeezed her hands lightly

“How can you be so sure?” she asked

“Because...” I took a deep breath and smiled softly “....I’m already.......................”
