A A A A

"Is she alright?" called a voice.

Zuko? It can't be...I haven't heard of him for a while now...

"When is she coming back?" it continued.

That's his voice. There's no mistaking it.

"Is she alright?" called a voice.

Zuko...? Is he really here?

"When is she coming back?" it continued.

"Back"? When did I ever leave...?

"Mmm..." the girl tried to speak.

"Katara? Katara!" came the alarmed voice of the young man. "Please, leave us alone," he continued to the healer in the tent.

"Zu...?" asked the girl.

"Katara it's me. I was worried about you! Why did you have to go and risk yourself for those people you didn't even know?!" ranted the prince.

Not knowing what to say, Katara went over and rested her head on Zuko's shoulder.

"Shh..." she said.

"No Katara, I won't shush! Do you know how hard it was for me to just sit here and wait for you to come back?!" raved the firebender.

"I'm sorry," replied the waterbender.

"Nevermind. Just don't be," said Zuko.

Katara, knowing how concerned Zuko was and how he showed it, gave him a chaste peck on the cheek.

"I'll be more careful next time..."

"Is she alright?" called a voice.

Zuko? It can't be...I haven't heard of him for a while now...

"When is she coming back?" it continued.

That's his voice. There's no mistaking it.

"Zuko? Is that you?" called out Katara.

"Gran-Gran are you okay?" called out Meelo.

"Yes," answered Katara looking around for the owner of the voice. After scanning the small room, her eyes landed on a tall young man wearing the traditional garb of the Fire Nation.

"Who is that young man, Tenzin?" asked Katara.

"Mother, that is General Iroh of the Fire Nation. He's the grandson of Fire Lord Zuko," answered Tenzin to his mother.

"Alright, go along with your business. I'm just going out for a walk," said Katara.

Walking around Air Temple Islands, Katara stopped at the turtle duck pond. She sat down by the jasmine bush growing nearby and couldn't help but think:

He sounds so much like Zuko. If I close my eyes, I can just picture him...
