A A A A

For hundreds of years, the Bay Mountain has remained human free. Different species have come and few have gone. With our growing numbers we have no choice but to move into the humans land at the base of the mountain. If you are from A9 or higher, you will not be affected in this shift...

"Not affected? More like we cant risk mixing them with anyone." I snorted before continuing to read.

...however anyone in A3 or lower will be shifted outward. We apologies for all uncomfortable positions you all will be put in, however there is no choice. If assistance is needed, there is a schedule when there will be pack members in your region.

"That means we have to go?" Mani finished reading a second after me.

"I am not moving." This is where my family was buried, there is no way I would leave them. "I don't care what they say. If others get shifted down then fine, I will live with them. You don't have to stay with your own species, mixing has happed." The lycans around me were in a state of despair. The only one who seemed to hear me was Key, my older 'brother'.

Both being orphans with no one, we took each other and moved into a one bedroom flat just off the main river. It was terribly shabby, but better than the lycans in D4, they had two families per flat.

Before the plague swept down the mountain, I lived with my mother, father, two sisters and four brothers in A3 D3. We were expecting another girl soon. The Delta village at the top of the mountain contracted a rare Lycan disease that had no cure, mainly because there is no way to observe it. Once it kills its host it dies itself and it take hours to kill. There is no way to tell your infected until its too late.

My father brought t home from work, spread it to my family at dinner and when I came home from Mani's house early the next morning they were all dead. When the plague filtered out of D3, the survivors collected the bodies and we burned them in a mass pallet. Two days later, A3 D1-D7 were contaminated and closed off. One by one, we were filtered out and sent to the two remaining districts of Lycan Areas.

When my group reached A5, I found Key almost instantly and we had enough money to buy a flat together. Four months later they opened D1 and D2, but burned the rest. Key and I were on the first caravan to A3 and moved into our currant flat, just down the road from my old house. Its gone though, burned because all inhabitance died from the plague. Mani and his sister were able to move back into their house with four loggers renting rooms.

"You cant talk like that Ani. If they hear you..." I nodded at his words. He made sense, I just rarely listened.

"I know, I just will not leave." A hush fell over our group as members passed us. They all matched in their forest green uniforms and Official Pack emblems. I hated them all.
