First Meeting

Kazuto kicked the pebble across the grey sidewalk. It somehow kept rolling back to him. Huh. How Odd.

 

 

 

 

Kazuto Kirigaya is your average fifteen year old. He practices Kendo, gets average grades and hangs out with his friends in the weekends once in a while and lives with two parents and one sibling.

 

 

 

 

He was never exactly happy or extremely deppressed with his life. It was just... ordinary. The same repeated cycle happens everyday, that is until his parents decided to move to another part of Tokyo due to their new job.

 

 

 

 

 

He sighed as he looked around his surooundings. Judging by their uniform, they went to the same school as he did. They all seemed aquainted with each other already since it's been 3 months into the school year while he gets to be the new kid.

 

 

Great. Just great. *Well, I guess I need to be optimistic..*

 

 

 

 

His eyes stopped at a girl with long brown hair who walked elegantly. She seems to be careful of her surroundings and kept a straight face despite the group of boys ogling over her and taking pictures.

 

 

 

*That doesn't seem right..They should respect her privacy..*

 

 

 

Then, one of the boys approached her and grabbed her wrist. She glared at him and told him to let go, but the boy insisted. Kazuto's eyes widened. He needed to do something. He ran towards her  and faced the boy.

 

 

 

" Who are you? Get out of my way."

 

 

 

 

 

 

" I'm Kazuto Kirigaya. Will you please let go of this girl? I can see that she doesn't want to go with you." Kazuto replied and stared at him. The boy's smirk was replaced with a scowl.

 

 

"I don't care who you are. You better get out of my way."

 

 

 

 

 

Kazuto sighed.

 

 

"I didn't want to resort to this but.. It'll have to do." He kicked the boy in the stomach, grabbed the girl's wrist and ran as fast as he could.

 

 

They stopped at an alley. The girl's facial expression remained stoic. She turned to him and bowed. " Asuna Yuki, student council president. Thank you for saving me Kirigaya-san. I'd better go."

 

 

She walked towards the direction of their school in quick steps without giving him a second glance.

 

 

 

*Asuna Yuki... she's beautiful, but seems hard to approach... Things may get interesting soon..* Kazuto grinned.

 

 

" Yuki-san!! Wait up!!" he ran up to her.
