It is Christmas. The snow start falling, making the landscapes around painted with white. It did not take long before thick layers of snow are lying on the ground. A crusader with the name Tari and his monster friend Sakura are walking through a forest. They had been travelling for a pretty long time now. It was Sakura’s idea to do so, because she wanted some fresh air. She jumps alongside the crusader, wearing her usual red Chinese costume. Tari at the other hand has just his iron armour on himself, with a shield and sword also. After a while they begin to hear some weird screams ahead of them.

 

When they have walked some more meters to were it came, they see what it was. It was a female acolyte running away from an orc. She has green long hair and a cute looking face. But now it show only terror and tears in the eyes. With a strong hit he cut the orc into two. The aco sense that the chaser had stopped and saw the event. She tanked the crusader with bows and apologies of the trouble she had made. The man says it was not much of a deal.

 

They introduced themselves that his name is Tari and hers is Emerald. Emerald tell that she is new and do not really know how to play Ragnarok online. Pretty easy to understand when she had not upgraded a single skill and tried to kill a orc, as a low level player(The higher level you have, the easier it is to kill monsters). He explain it in a easy way and she comprehend some of it. Sometimes a little hard when she is not good at English.

 

Tari bring her to Toy factory(tf) to level up a little. The first stage is a pretty good place for newbies. Besides, it is empty when today is the Christmas eve. Emerald get impressed by all the tons of toys lying at the sides, in nice placed orders. She look at the surroundings further and touch a present looking monster by mistake. Shocked that it give away movements it made her to jump backwards. “It’s a monster so hit it”, Tari said. She do so with much effort. Her stats(what you are good and weak at) were not good against the enemies in Toy Factory.

 

She used most on intelligence(magic strength) and speed, which made her to miss a lot. After a while she ended up wounded. He heal her to spirit her up a little. “Don’t give up, you’re doing just fine”, Tari said. Emerald heard it and try to continue the struggle. Monster after monster, enemy after enemy, fall down on the floor by her spike club.

 

Sweat appears to paint her skin, but could only be seen in her face. Breathing heavily and beginning to feel tired yet she tries to go on. That is not such a good idea when she finally encounters the mini-boss. Tari has to use, as many other times for today, one of his crusader skills to take her damage. He took the blow with a grunt and glare very annoyed at the boss. The boss monster which is a girl possessed by a demon notice his anger and flee away terrified.

 

A grin formed on Tari as he recover the both of them once again. “Good work, you have improved a lot today”, he sad. Emerald just answer with a nod. They take their seats at the peak of the present hill. The girl need a break or she would get into more trouble. She is so fatigued that she lay down flat on some stuffed toys. Heh, she is still a child after all. It became silent now, very silent.

 

Not a single monster could be spotted. Seems like she defeated everything nearby.

But that did not explain why it felt so late. He views through a window and catch the sight of the dark night sky. He had helped her the whole day. Tari had not even thought about that simple truth. Time really flies by when one has fun. Sakura is just loafing about, happily tripping here and there. They all enjoy the calmness of being the only ones in this big factory.

 

Sakura come up and give Emerald a big hug as a present for a well done work. Emerald gladly accepted it while blushing a little. Tari thinks some time about that the fact that it is Christmas eve now. He has to reward her somehow.

The man search in his pockets and find a large chain in shining gold with a red ruby in the middle.

 

- Merry Christmas and well done today, he says. She look at him and notice what he has in his hands.

- For me?

- Yes. She take it and put it on herself. It make her to shine brightly with happiness.

A little bit of pink is seen in her face once more.

- Thank you.

- It was nothing. Emerald giggles and lean in on him and give him a kiss on the cheek.

- Merry Christmas to you too, she says while giggling very innocent.

Tari become stunned and turns away embarrassed .

- Thanks……Was all he could say.
