Arriving at Salvation :// Chapter 3

Noemi's POV

I was eating breakfast with my cousin who I was chatting with quietly, since my parents were still sleeping soundly. 

"So...That girl, she's going to live with you?" He asked me eating a bit of his pancake. I nodded and sipped my smoothie. Getting the Television remote,turning it on. The hazy morning sun beaming softly through the red curtains. The morning news played at volume nine and talked about some missing children who they suspected ran away. My cousin waved his hand in front of my face snapping me out of my daze. I tend to zone out easily. 

"Earth to Noemi?" He said and stuck his tongue out sarcasticly. 

"Eh what Alphonse!?" I blinked rapidly and looked at my cousin. He puffed and finished his food, hearing my phone vibrate. Then he pointed at my phone resting on the counter and I got it,answering it.

"Hello?" I said to the person on the other end. 

"Hey! Come to the door there's a surprise for you~" Raven said in a happy tone, One I haven't heard in years. 

"Haha ok then~" I said hanging up and going over to the door,opening it. Standing there was Raven,As short as ever with her white and pale lavender hair. My first instinct was to run up and hug her so that's what I did. She tripped slightly and hugged back slowly, being quite surprised the person that hates hugs is hugging her. My cousin peeked out from behind the door and grinned.

"Hey, You're room is upstairs, right next to Noemi's~ Go settle down and I can make you something!" He said happily and scurried off into the kitchen. Raven pulled away and laughed a bit.

"Haha ok...Could you show me around?" She asked and had about five suitcases behind her,along with her bag she always took with her. I nodded and helped her inside, taking two of her suitcases away from her.

"Gurl you're gonna kill yourself with all this weight!" I said jokingly and she rolled her eyes. 

"What ever!" She said in a sarcastic manner and ran upstairs,tripping on the way up. I blinked and puffed, walking over to her. 

"Don't run upstairs, you're too much of a clutz." I smiled and walked past her. She put a thumbs up and got up, walking behind me. As Raven and I approached her room, there was a sign that had the letters spelling Raven. 

"Yep this is the place!" I exclaimed and opened the door. Raven walked in and smiled widely.

"Woah! This is so much bigger than my old room~! Thank you!" She said happily and looked at me,then jumping on the bed. I laughed and jumped next to her, poking her arm.

"Heyyy vidcon is tomorrow~ You have a dress~?" I asked her and rolled around. She nodded and pulled out a black white and purple lace dress with a peter pan collar,as well as a few gothic accents. I gave a thumbs up and Raven hung her dress off the closet door. 

"I have one too...Its pink and white as usual~" I laughed and she rolled her eyes. I heard Alphonse call that breakfast was ready for my parents and Raven. 

"Oh yea...I have to go eat!" Raven exclaimed and grabbed my hand,walking downstairs. I almost fell face first downstairs but luckily I didn't, I noticed my mom and papa at the table eating pancakes and they noticed Raven. My mom smiled and walked over to Raven, towering over her.

"Hello dear~ I hope you enjoy it here!" She said politely and Raven smiled shyly, nodding.

"T-Thank you miss~" She stuttered a bit and fixing her glasses. My mom already knew she was shy so my mom just brushed it off. My dad waved at Raven and continued eating. 

"Hey Raven, Pancakes are on the counter over there!" Alphonse pointed over at a small plate of pancakes sitting on the counter.

Raven's POV

I walked over and grabbed the plate, taking a seat on the floor out of habbit. ( Mom only had one chair and it was for her not for Raven so she always sat on the ground ) Noemi's mom looked over at me and tilted her head in a confused manner. 

"Dear, Why are you sitting on the floor?" She asked me and pointed to a chair. 

"I-I never got to use chairs at the dinner table, Its ok Im alright on the floor~" I smiled a bit and ate some of my pancakes. She nodded and continued eating, I finished quickly and washed off my plate. 

"I can do the dishes if you would like~" I smiled over at Noemi and her mother. 

"Raven you dont have to do that gurl~ Its my job anyway!" Noemi grinned and laughed,making a stupid face. I rolled my eyes and set my plate in the dishwasher,along with my knife and fork.

Timeskip ( 8:23 pm )

I was standing in front of my bathroom mirror, examining the multiple cuts on my arms,legs and stomach. My long hair curled up into my face and neck,framing it messily. The fact I was a guy disguted me. My real name is Stephan but I legally changed my name to Raven. Taking the rest pf my clothing,I went into the shower flinching at the sudden droplets of hot water. Turning my skin pink and raw, as well as a burning sensation with all my cuts and scars. The door opened and Noemi came into the bathroom.

"Hey gurl you ok?" She asked and sat on the counter, staring up at the celilng. 

"Yea...Im fine..." I sighed and combed the shampoo through my snowy white hair. Though I could tell she knew that wasn't it.

"Fine...I was looking at all my scars and it brought back some really bad memories..." I said whilst washing it out of my hair,getting everything else done. Noemi went entirely silent and puffed as I turned the shower off. 

"Could you hand me a towel...?" I asked and stuck my head out from the curtain. She nodded and handed it to me. I said thanks and wrapped it around my waist, stepping out carefully. I walked out to the room and pulled out a tank top with a pair of shorts. 

"Noemi...Im going to go get some water...." I said and walked out,then downstairs. Noemi followed and puffed.

"Same, Im thirsty..." She mumbled and opened the fridge door. I watched as she poured some water into two cups, handing me one afterwards. Taking it, I sipped it lightly and stuck my tongue out. Eh...Im just going to go to bed.
