A A A A

Endless teasing.  Voices of mockery, of hate, of disgust.  They all hurt him with cruel jokes and faulty rumors and tormenting pranks.

It stung.  He knew that his father didn't care, didn't bother to send them any sort of support after he pranced away with his new, young lover.  That even though his mother loved him, a part of her resented that she had bore a child of such femimine and petite features.  Traits that made it a burden for them every day.

There was no viable way for him to contribute to their survival.  His mother was forced to work in the stuffy, poisonous factory, his sister to give up education and sell her love.  He wasn't able to do anything--the frail health that had been bestowed upon him prevented that.  He could hardy perform any laborous action without a wheeze, short of breath or sprain.  The best thing he could do was just sit there.

He hated it.

The feelings of guilt and helplessness grew into self-hate, something so hard that it began to change him bit by bit, piece by piece.  It began a process so dark that it had slipped past his concience, had been in the works without him knowing.

Until it was too late, or perhaps when he no longer cared.

Honestly I wanted a longer chapter (and spent so much time thinking on how to expand) but My brain is telling me this should do.  Blast it.
