I spent the whole day facing my laptop without noticing the time. I checked my wrist watch and read '5:30'.

"Argh. Why so fast? I'm not even done with season 5" I pouted on the screen that reads Vampire Diaries.

The sun is setting and my room is starting to get dark so I pushed myself up, and went for the switch. I flicked it on and my room lit up, emphasizing my turquiose wall filled with pink, black and white colored abstract design. There's a big photo of mine hanging above my bed's headrest. I smiled at how pretty my room looks. I like it so much. It's so. .me.

My moment was cut off by a loud irritating knock on the door. My smile suddenly faded and an emotionless face is on. I unlocked my door knob and turn it lifelessly. I almost fell back because of the force applied by the intruder, feeling too much excited to enter my room. I inwardly cursed an eyed my brother intently.

"What are you doing here?" saying each word unpleasantly for him to understand I'm pissed.

But being my hard-headed brother he is. What's new? He just smirked and layed on my bed like a king.

"Yah! I'm talking to you! Can you show even just a little bit of respect? I'm a year older than you!" I shouted with all my might, almost out of breath.

But he just stayed there. Closing his eyes while smirking stupidly again, acting like he didn't heard anything.

"Kim Jongin!" I shouted furiously.

"Noonaaa! I told you not to call me with my real name. I don't like it. It doesn't sound cool" he pouted while dragging himself up.

"Cool your face" I retorted. "Say. What are you doing here? And what's with the get up?" I asked while eyeing him from head to toe, curious where my brother is going to since he's formally dressed.

But then I just can't keep myself from smirking, looking at my handsome brother. We really are siblings. I thought with so much pride.

"You really are the most forgetful person in the world noona. Oops. No. You're the second most forgetful after L.Joe hyung." Kai chuckled while thinking about something funny.

I frowned from the mention and bit my lip. Kai froze.

"Oops I-I'm so sorry noona. I forgot-"

"No it's okay Kai. I had moved on. Remember?" I smiled slightly and paused, thinking of a way to change the topic. "Seems like you're turning out to be as forgetful as me now." I faked a soft laugh.

Kai let out a smile. He walked closer to me and patted my head like a big brother. Kai may be dork, playful, stupid and all. But his brotherly side never leaves and fail me at times like this.

"Noona" he softly called before leaving my room.

I turned around to face him with a soft expression.

"I really think you should change your clothes since you wouldn't want to go to grands wedding anniversary with that get up right?" he smirked before closing the door behind.

Oh shit! Right! The wedding anniversary! I rushed to my closet and pulled out the pretty dress my mother gave me the other day. I love my mom for being so caring and all but sometimes she makes decisions for me too much that goes overboard. I shook the thoughts out of my mind and headed for the bathroom. I didn't mind it this time since the dress is too pretty to dislike.

We arrived at the venue around 7:00 pm. My parents walked in with my mom's arm clinged into my dad's. Kai followed with that model-like walk of his. I almost think he's in a runway or something. I shook my head lightly with a smile and followed behind him.

I actually don't like family gatherings cause I'm not so close with my korean relatives. I hate how they compare each other's wealth and talk about business almost all the time. My ears just can't take it.

I finished my dinner in no time. My parents gasp at my shinny plate while their's are still half-filled. Kai smirked from my side and I shot him a death glare.

"Sorry. I forgot to eat lunch. Excuse me. I'll go use the comfort room" I rushed out to the door instead of going to the rest room as what I've said. But of course I didn't let my parents know. I'll be dead if they will.

But my brother Kai saw me and shook his head with a smirk plastered on his face. He knew it was my plan. I always do that in every family gatherings. He knows I badly want to get out of that suffocating room. Kai feels the same way too but he always prefer to stay inside 'cause he likes how our relatives adore him for being so handsome and cool. Vain. *insert eyes rolling here*

Me in the other hand is making my way towards the hotel's garden. The perfectly trimmed plants and the 7 ft. fountain in the middle makes it look so simple yet beautiful. The place have always been my hide out after escaping every family gatherings since we moved here in Korea. No one seems to care about the place. It's so quite and I like it. I took a deep breath enjoying the fresh air that's lingering in my nosetrills. I closed my eyes and a smile crept on my face. The bushes on the right side moved and I shot my eyes open. “Who's there?” I called while nervously looking at the dark spot behind the bushes. I can feel someone gazing at me. I gulped and decided to find another place to stay. While walking around, I fished my phone out of my pink tote and dialed a number.

"Hello?" a sweet voice came from the other line.

"Hey Shai" my face lit up from hearing my bestfriend's voice.

"Li!!!" she squealed.

"Missed me that much?" I chuckled.

"Of course! It's been a week since you migrated in Korea. I've been dying out of loneliness here"

"Hey you can always call me if you want to.”

"I did! For almost a week! But it said it's not in use already. What happened? I thought you got a new korean bestfriend and forget about me." she said with sadness in her voice.

"Yah! You know it will never happen!" I scolded. "And oh. I'm so sorry about that Shai. I lost my phone at the airport when we arrived here. Dad punished me then for being so clumsy" I explained. "But! I got a new phone now. Thanks to Kai. That kid can be so annoying most of the time but sometimes he treats me well." I emphasized the word 'sometimes' and smirked.

There was a silence from the other end and I cursed to myself as I remembered something. Oh crap. I forgot my brother broke up with my bestfriend before we left China. Great. I'm sooo- argh!

"A-ah Shai!" I called nervously. Damn why am I so forgetful?

"Hmm?" she answered lifelessly.

I panicked trying to think of something interesting that might get my bestfriend's attention away from my stupid brother.

"Ah. I-I'm having weird dreams since we moved here." Yes right. Tell her that one.

"What?! What kind of dreams? Is it-”

Of course its not sex dreams! How dare you think of me like that!”

     And she laughed. Hard.

I smiled knowing my bestfriend is getting back to herself. But remembering my dreams made me frown a little because of the confusement it gives me.

"I really don't know what's happening Shai. I just can't stop it. I don't know how to. I don't even know if I want to" I paused sighing heavily.

My bestfriend nodded her head, signaling me to continue eventhough I can't see it.

"This guy. Since the first day we moved here. I've been dreaming about him. . about us." I bit my lip and gulped big time. "We met at a school. I started noticing him because of a shiny necklace he was wearing that day under the sun that made me squint, not mentioning his handsome face" I paused again and Shai giggled at the other end. "Fate seems to be playing with us since then. Though we're not in the same class, but I always get to see him everywhere I go." I continued while I unconciously curled my lips upward, remembering the scenes. "It's so funny 'cause everytime I see him outside the school, we're wearing the same shirt color. At first I thought it was just coincidence but later on I realized it is not. It's destiny"

Shai smirked from how happy I sound while recalling the memories or shall I say dream.

"On the next dream" I continued with a bit tone of sadness, reminded that it is JUST A DREAM. "We're a happy couple already. He is the sweetest boyfriend in the world. I was so happy being with him. He never fails in making me smile every now and then." a small smile crept on my face.

.

.

.

"Li?" she called.

"Y-yes? A-ah where am I?" I asked dumbfounded. I realized I am imagining things too much that I forgot I'm talking on the phone with my bestfriend and spaced out.

"He never fails to make you smile and then?" she asked with a soft chuckle.

I noticed this and changed my tone into a cold one "Why are you laughing?"

"I'm not laughing!" she defended.

"Yes you are!"

"No I'm not! Now continue with your love story. I-I mean dream story." she giggled and I rolled my eyes.

"Last night I dreamt about him surprising me on our anniversary. But-" I paused for a moment.

"But?"

"But he suddenly disappeared" A sad tone noticeable from my voice.

"Disappear? How?" Shai asked curiously.

"I-I don't know. He let me close my eyes. I thought he's going to surprise me again. But when I opened my eyes, he's gone" I sighed. "He surprised me indeed" I murmured with a frown.

"Weird. I've never heard of a continuous dream on different nights before"

"Yeah. But what made it weirder is that, it- it felt so. . .real" I whispered the last word.

"Li?" she softly called.

"Hmm?"

"What if. ." Shai paused, choosing the right words to say. "What if he's real? I mean what if he does exist? What if you'll see him with your own eyes? What will you do?"

I froze at her question and gulped nervously. Eventhough I know it is impossible but somehow a part of me hoped it'll come true.

"I. .I don't know Shai" I hesitantly shook my head though she can't see it.

"I don't know" I whispered one last time, letting my thoughts fly to that mysterious guy.
