“Alright! Does everyone have their bags?” Gerard called out into the apartment, duffle bag swung over his shoulder. Random shouts came from all over the apartment as the rest of the boys came scrambling out.

“Yeah, we’re ready now,” Brendon yelled from his room, stumbling out with his over sized bag. Dallon helped him with it while confirming that he also had his things packed.

“Kids!” Gerard yelled again, this time Bob and Frank came hurrying out with sheepish grins. “Do you have everything packed?” Gerard questioned, shouldering his bag which was becoming heavier by the second.

“Yup!” Bob chirped and made his way towards the front door, the others following along.

“Good, Ray is already down in the van so let’s get moving!” Gerard ordered before turning and marching out the door, the others following along loudly.

Today was the start of The Emo Trio’s short break, and they were going to spend it camping. Not all of them though, Patrick and Andy were off to visit some friends while Mikey, Spencer, Joe and Earl the Office Plant would be taking a trip to the hot springs. A week wasn’t that long, but the boys were going to make the most of it. So, the six of them crammed into the Ray’s van and drove off to God knows where, (Ray insisted he knew a nice camping site, but the others were sure they’d get lost and killed.) and spent the next 3 hours driving through the country side. After their very long and rather hellish trip, the boys had finally reached a lovely camp site out in the lovely forest of where-ever-the-fuck.

“OH THANK GOD FINALLY!” Bob practically flew out of the van, dramatically falling to the forest floor, the others following after him, just a little less dramatically.

“Oh cut it out. We made three pit stops you baby!” Brendon huffed, stretching his arms above his head.

“Euughh,” Bob responded unattractively.

“Okay, come on. Pick yourself up and help us unload,” Ray said, walking over to Bob and hauling him to his feet. Bob groaned but complied, the six of them got to work unloading the car and hauling their things to a suitable camp site. They set up their tents (really badly at first) and then split into pairs to do certain jobs. Of course Brendon was stuck dealing with the food and Gerard got ditched cleaning things up. The others went off to collect fire wood and rocks to make the camp fire. It took a few hours and some band aids, but they were finally done.

“Ah~ Finally! We should eat something,” Dallon announced as he sat down on the log next to Ray, warming up his hands by the fire.

“Yeah, I’m starving,” Frank agreed, poking at the fire with a stick.

“How about we eat hot dogs?” Brendon asked the group, already beginning to stand. The others murmured in agreement and got up to help Brendon pull out the food. They roasted hot dogs and told stories for the next hour until the sun was setting, and the mosquitoes were out to eat them alive. It was a fun first day, filled with laughter and general stupidity...

“Well... I’m going to call it a night; it’s been a long day...” Gerard yawned and stood up slowly, dusting off his pants. Ray yawned and stood up as well, stretching.

“Yeah, I’m beat. You kids don’t stay up too long alright?” Ray gave the other four a stern look before following Gerard to their shared tent.

They stayed up for a short while longer telling stories and giggling quietly to themselves, being careful not to wake the snoring Ways.

Brendon stretched his legs out and placed his hands behind his head and let out a tired sigh, “Well I think it’s about time for sleep, don’tcha think Dallon? Dallon?”

Brendon looked to where Dallon was sitting and found him curled up like a kitten on the leaves. The three still awake let out a simultaneous “awww” before Brendon slapped him lightly on his leg, “Yo, wake up!”

Dallon woke up with a snort; he groggily rolled about before sitting up and stretching, accidentally placing his right arm directly in the camp fire, setting his sleeve ablaze.

“WHAAA HOLY SHIT SOMEONE PUT ME OUT!” Dallon screeched and waved his flaming arm about like a... Well like someone whose arm was on fire.

Brendon squeaked and launched himself at Dallon, tackling him to the earth and slapping at his sleeve trying to put out the fire; the two of them squawking loudly at each other.

“I’M ON IT!” Bob jumped up from his spot and grabbed the bucket of water they would have used to douse the camp fire, emptying the entire contents onto the screaming boys.

The two of them sat there in silence, sopping wet and one still on top of the other.

It was at that point that Frank who had been a spectator of the event collapsed into tears, rolling about and laughing so hard he could barely breathe.

Brendon sat there on top of Dallon, his hair sticking to his face and dripping immensely.

Dallon looked up at the boy on top of him, “Ahem,”

“OH! Sorry!” Brendon blushed and awkwardly climbed off of Dallon and skittered into his tent to dry off.

There was a quiet rusting sound and Gerard emerged from his tent, “Guys what’s with all the noise? Is everything alright?”

“EVERYTHINGISFINEGERARDGOBACKTOSLEEP!” Bob squeaked and flew over, shoving Gerard back into his tent by his face and zipping it back up. There was a small “okay” from inside the tent which earned a small chortle from Bob as he plopped down on the dirt next to Frank who was still in tears.

Dallon flipped his sopping hair out of his and silently waddled back to the tent he shared with Brendon.

Now that is was just the two of them, Bob and Frank sat in the warm glow of the fire, occasionally bursting into small fits of laughter having remembered the incident with the flaming Dallon.

The two sat in a comfortable silence for a while when Bob noticed that Frank had dozed off on his shoulder.

“Hey,” Bob nudged him softly and stood up, “Yah, c’mon. It’s time for sleep,”

Frank nodded groggily and held out his hand, rubbing his eyes with the other.

Bob smiled slightly and took Frank’s hand, pulling him up too his feet and leading him off to their tent.

Frank snuggled up in his sleeping bag and almost instantaneously fell asleep.

Bob opened his bag to find his phone, curious to see just how late they had stayed up,

“Ah, where the hell is it,” Bob whispered in frustration and began tossing his belongings all over the tent.

One of Bob’s t-shirts flew across the tent, landing directly on Frank’s face, stirring him from his nap, “Bob, what in god’s name are you doing?”

Bob continued digging through his bag, “I’ve lost my phone,” He pulled out a flashlight and switched it on, “I must’ve dropped it when we went hiking or something, I’m going to go look for it,”

Frank pushed his hair out of his eyes and sat up, “Hold on a sec, I’ll come with you,”

“It’s okay, ya sweet baby. You’re tired, go back to sleep, I’ll go look for it,”

Frank pouted, “No. You’re not going out there by yourself. You could get eaten by a bear, at least of you have me with you I can set it on fire, like I did with you that one time,”

Bob giggles, “Fine, grab a flashlight and let’s go,”

Frank cheered silently, grabbing his flashlight and following Bob out into the night.

“It’s got to be around here somewhere. It has too! We’re the hell could it be!” Bob griped and continued to shine his light on the surrounding foliage.

“Calm down; we’ll find it, I promise,”

“Yeah, okay. This is the way we came right?”

“Um, yeah I think so. See the camp is right over-” Frank pointed his flashlight in what he thought was the direction of the campsite; which of course turned out to be nothing but the trunk of a large tree.

“Bu- but... we came from... we... I. Um...” Frank shone his light frantically around the forest.

“Shit. Man where in the balls are we?” Bob placed his hand on his hip and pinched the bridge of his nose.

Frank shook his head, “I haven’t the slightest clue; I swear the camp was right there!”

“Shhh, Frankie, not so loud,” Bob yell whispered and grabbed Frank’s wrist, “What if there are others out here?” He gasped dramatically, “Or a bear!”

Frank giggled cutely, “Okay, cut it out. Let’s try to find our way back, I’m getting sleepy,”

“Alright, let’s try to find out way out of this mess,” Bob looked around, surrounded by nothing but the forest rustling in the soft breeze.

“Which way should we go?”

“Um... that way? Maybe?”

“Yeah. Alright” Bob shrugged and towed Frank off into the brush.

“Well this looks familiar as fuck,” Bob said as they hung a left around a tree stump for probably the third time.

“I know,” Frank scratched the back of his head, “We’re more than lost now, we’re legally missing,”

Bob snickered, “Well, I think I can hear water over there, if we camp out near a sort of landmark it’ll be easier for the others to find us in the morning,”

“Boob, you raise a valid point,” Frank nodded and they began crunching through the piles of fallen leaves and twigs towards the rushing water.

Once they arrived the two were greeted by the most beautiful waterfall they had ever seen. The water was clear as glass, making it possible to see the rock beneath it; the moonlight shining like an abstract work of art, constantly changing with the movement of the water. The sight was truly breathtaking.

“Woah...” Bob breathed out, watching the scenery in amazement, Frank standing at his side in silence.

“I think this is a pretty good place to camp out, don't'cha think?” Frank said, grinning at Bob and nudging him with his elbow.

“Yeah, this place is... unbelievable,” Bob murmured as Frank took his hand and lead him to some large boulders. Frank climbed up first before pulling Bob after him and settling down. Bob sat down next to him with his legs crossed and eyes trained on the water ahead of them.

“Getting lost wasn't the worst thing that could have happened to us I think...” Bob said, laughing quietly,

“No, not at all,” Frank agreed, chuckling softly. He moved closer to Bob and leaned against him, enjoying his warmth. Bob leaned back against Frank in response to his actions and the two just sat their enjoying the others presence. Frank snaked an arm around Bob 's waist and leaned his cheek on top of the others head, sighing happily.

“Frank... I'm really tired, can we sleep now?” Bob asked quietly, clearly exhausted,

“Of course, it won't be very comfortable though...” Frank mumbled, readjusting his sweater. Bob shrugged and lied down on his back, arms folded behind his head and his chest rising and falling slowly as he exhaled.

“Wah... Look at the stars!” Bob whispered, eyes sparkling as he looked up. Frank joined Bob in his star gazing, he grinned when the beautiful night sky came into focus.

“It's amazing,” Frank sighed, linking arms with Bob, who intern turned to smile at him.

“Frankie, do I ever tell you I love you? I don't think I do it enough, so I love you~” Bob grinned at the other boy lovingly, his bangs falling to the side.

Frank grinned back, the corners of his eyes crinkling cutely, “I love you too Boob, and no, you don’t tell me enough,” He poked the other boy on the cheek making him giggle. Bob grabbed Frank’s hand and laced their fingers together, smiling brightly.

“I guess I’ll have to tell you more often then, hmm?” He asked, nuzzling his head into Frank’s shoulder. Frank’s grip on his hand tightened a little and suddenly let go, using it to push up off the ground, Frank swung his leg over Bob and now had a knee on either side of Bob’s waist and his hands at the sides of Bob’s head. Neither spoke as Frank hovered over the other, dark eyes looking down at Bob’s moonlit ones.

Frank slowly leaned forward and stopped inches from the others face, “I love you...” He murmured before pressing his lips to Bob’s softly. Bob tilted his head and kissed back, bringing a hand to the back of Frank’s neck. They stayed like that kissing for a few moments until Frank pulled away and sat back, crossing his legs. He pulled Bob up with him and the boy straddled him, arms winding around his neck as Frank’ wrapped around his waist.

Frank parted his lips and Bob slipped his tongue inside, their tongues tangling together in a hot mess. They continued this way for a little while long until they had to part to catch their breath, Bob’s head pressed into the crook of Frank’s neck as he panted softly. Frank bit his lip, try hard not to smile like an idiot but he couldn’t help if he was beyond happy. He brought a hand up and gently stroked Bob’s arm, squeezing his shoulder gently. Bob pulled back so he could look at Frank’s face, cupping the others face with his hands. He pecked Frank’s lips again before leaning his forehead against the other’s, smiling as he swiped his thumbs across Frank’s cheek bones, “I think getting lost tonight was a very good thing...”  Bob said, chuckling to himself and Frank laughed along.

The two of them rolled about and eventually ended up lying back down on the cool stones, Bob ’s head rested on Frank’s chest, “You know, Boob,” Frank said, running his fingers though Bob ’s soft hair, “We could stay like this you know, just the two of us. We could spend our days in each other’s arms, just gazing at the stars,”

“Frankie that sounds more than perfect but I don’t think the fans would appreciate it very much, let alone the members,”

Frank pouted cutely, “Just for tonight then?”

Bob tilted his head up and kissed a line from his jaw to his temple, stopping at his ear he whispered, “Just for tonight,”

When the sun rose the next morning, it was accompanied by a thin layer of fog over the forest. The air was a tad bit chilly but the sky remained clear, promising a nice day ahead. The peaceful silence of the forest was disrupted by random yelps and braches snapping as Ray and his bumbling idiots went crashing through the undergrowth.

“Jesus Christ, watch where you step!” Ray snapped when Brendon stepped on a stick that lay on the forest floor, launching one end of it right into Ray’ crotch. Ray half sobbed as he held his aching balls.

“Oh my God! I’m so sorry!” Brendon squeaked, hurrying ahead to catch up with Dallon. After Gerard made sure Ray would still be able to walk, they continued their trek through the trees. They finally stumbled into a small clearing and came face-to-face with a breath taking water fall.

Oh, and would you look at that, Frank and Bob were there as well.

“OH MY LAWD MY BABIES!” Gerard shrieked and dove into the two of them, hugging a half asleep Frank to his chest.

“Ermmmpphhhh- GERARD I CAN’T BREATH!” Frank cried out, prying himself away from the singer, only to leave Gerard to attack Bob.

“Where the hell have you guys- GERARD CAN YOU NOT, I’M TRYING TO SCOLD THEM!” Ray squawked at Gerard, only to be pushed aside as Dallon and Brendon launched themselves at the pile of sobbing Gerard.

“AGH- stop! I can’t- I CAN’T BREATH!” Bob cried out as he was crushed beneath his friends, all of them talking at once and trying to figure out where the pair had disappeared to.

“Will you guys please stop screa- WHOA!” Ray was suddenly cut off by Dallon grabbing his wrist and yanking him into the tangled heap on the ground.

Ray stared at the boys in shock and quickly regressed into a laughing mess along with the other five who continued to squeal and roll about on top of each other.

After the squeaking had died down the boys lied there on the stones, panting and smiling to themselves.

Gerard propped himself up on his elbows, “We should do this again some time,”

The others nodded in agreement and Frank looked at Bob , shooting him a quick wink, “Yeah, I think so too.”
