A A A A

"The chemical structure of this molecule, suggests that..." The teacher trailed on.

Grace turned as she heard whispers beside her. Her best friends, Deborah and Emma, were as always complaining. "Ugh, do you understand a word she's saying?" Emma groaned. "All I hear is gibberish." Deborah replied, just as bored.

Grace laughed, "What exactly don't you guys understand?"

"Everything." The two said in unison.

Grace shook her head and started to help her friends.

"Woah, this is easier then I thought! Hydrogen, helium, lithium, beryllium, bor-" Emma began to sing. "Stop!" Both Deborah and Grace tried to stop their friend.

Emma frowned but stopped singing, instead humming it in her head.

The three friends made their way to the school library to hang out. After finding an empty room, the girls sat down and began to talk immediately, while sneaking food into their mouths because the library was a non-eating area.

"So, did you meet any cute guys this weekend?" Deborah hinted at Grace.

Grace laughed, she knew exactly where this conversation was going. "Yes, I did."

"OH MY GOSH! Was he nice?!" Emma quickly questioned.

Grace laughed, "I didn't talk to him."

"Ohh, but I bet he liked you!" Deborah said.

Grace sighed, "Guys stop it, not everyone likes me."

"Whatever you say..." Emma said.

At that moment, her guy bestfriend came in with a bunch of his friends.

"Hey Kris!" Grace smiled happily. Emma and Deborah sighed, they hated it when the guys came in because they took Grace away from them. After 5 minutes Deborah and Emma decided to leave, they weren't being included into the conversation anyway.

Emma and Deborah was completely different from Grace, they weren't popular nor sporty. But some how, the three had become the best of friends.
---------------------------

"Guys! Why did you just leave me with the guys?" Grace asked when she saw her two bestfriends.

"We weren't doing anything anyway, so there was no point staying there." Emma bluntly replied.

"You guys didn't even try to talk though!" Grace argued.

"The guys came for you Grace. Not us." Deborah said ending the conversation.

Grace started to feel bad, *I don't want to ignore the guys when they came looking for me, but instead ignored my bestfriends...* Grace shook her head to get the thoughts out of her head and started to think about dance practice later that night.
