A A A A

"We'll be back by ten, Alice."

Mrs. Morgan said while grabbing her clutch. She kissed her son, Chris, on his forehead and gave Alice 30 dollars.

"The extra ten is for staying another hour. Thank you Alice. I really appreciate it. Miles and I haven't had date night in a while."

"Oh it's no problem, Mrs. Morgan."

She gave her a hug. She really liked babysitting for the Morgans. They paid well and their son was well behaved. She and Chris waved from the doorway as Mrs. Morgan climbed into the car with Mr. Morgan.

"So what do you wanna do tonight, Kiddo?" Alice asked.

"Can we play Tow Truck?" He replied.

"Sure, Chris." She answered.

The Morgans had gotten Chris a little truck set for Christmas, and his favorite was the tow truck.

They played "Tow Truck" for about an hour, and pretty soon, it was eight o'clock. Bedtime.

"Chris, time for bed." Alice said in sing-song voice.

"Okay." He answered.

Alice carried him to his room and read him a story.

As she began to tuck him in, Chris realized he was missing something VERY important.

"Wait! My blanket! It’s not here!" He exclaimed.

"Don't worry Chris. I'll find it. You just wait here."

He began to calm down and relaxed in his bed.

Alice searched every inch of the house.

"Wait the parent's room." She thought to herself.

"I don't want to snoop, but I'm sure they'll understand. The Morgans are really reasonable." She thought to herself once more.

She began to quietly look around Mr. and Mrs. Morgan's bedroom. When she pulled something out, and the blanket wasn't there, she immediately put it back in its place.

She began to look under the bed. She felt something soft, like a blanket.

"This must be it!" She thought while she pulled the blanket from up under the bed.

Unfortunately, for Alice, it was just a towel. But something was wrapped up inside of the towel. She carefully unraveled it, only to reveal a photograph.

It was Mr. and Mrs. Morgan. They were smoking cigarettes and holding AK-47's . They were smiling and were facing back to back. With both of their feet, on the chest of a dead body.
