A A A A

Wasn't there someone who protected you from your fears ?

A person who always wiped away your tears.

Wasn't there someone who held your hand ?

A person who'd make you understand.

That person would still come to your rescue,

even after an argue.

That someone will still love you no matter what,

even if that persons life will be shut.

So if that someone seems sometimes cruel,

please, don't make yourself a fool.

You might wonder who that person is,

well, it's your mother.

So, go and tell her,

you wouldn't want any other.

I love this poem! It's just so.. genuine. The rhymes are beautiful and the feelings are true. Although there are a few grammatical mistakes, this poem made me smile. Keep writing poetry!
