she didn't know where she was headed
lost dazed confused
dull eyes staring blankly ahead as wave after wave washed over her frail body
there were no directions no paths no map just an endless span of grey as far as she could see and she was just a lost child, shattered and broken by the iron fist of society.
they gave her a flower but she refused
as if a mere, evanescent flower would take away the pain and heartache.
and now all that remained was a hollow shell of what she could have been, should have been, would have been.

idk what this is tbh. i wrote this for our lit club exercise, where we were supposed to write something inspired by this piece of art that had a girl floating in the river with her arms crossed over her chest.

I love these. You write really well. My favorite is definitely the second one <3;; /creying

EmptyPromises  on says about chapter 4:
You write so well. These poems/drabbles are so, so good! You don't use much words but they turn out really nice because I'm able to visualize it all in my head. The pictures are very pretty. I especially like the line from the second one: "We may be broken, but not beyond repair". I don't want to come off as weird but I seriously /did/ see light over there.
So yeah. You write really well.
