Please, do not skip the red part!

Hello all my precious, I know this story is supposed to be completed but...

I'm really pleasantly surprised to see that there are 2 new subscribers to this story that I would proudly call my own, despite it being not as good as the stories out there. I know, I know 2 subscribers might seem to be a meagre amount, however, to me, having subsribers of any amount (even 1) makes me want to work harder for the readers who actually bother to read my creations.

Sooooooooo~ As a thank you gift to my dear subscribers, I am adding another drabble to this story - Smile for me. You can see it as a timeskip from the previous 4 drabbles, or simply a diffferent drabble all in all, it doesn't matter.

I know I might seem childish for doing this, and maybe naggy, but with my inadequate writing skills, I wish to make this imaginary world of mine a reality for my precious readers.

And now, on to the story~

"Smile for me." The leaving boy asked of the girl one last time.

His bag pack casually slung over his shoulder as he smiled at his childhood sweetheart.

The couple stood in front of each other and the boy waited for a response.

Slowly, a glistening drop of tear found its way down her cheek.

Her trembling lips curled up into an amiable smile as her eyes crinkled, forming two beautiful cresents, despite her flowing tears.

He frowned and took a step forward.

"Don't cry." He mumbled, raising his hand to wipe away her tears.

Lunging toward him, the girl started sobbing.

"I don't want you to leave!" She cried.

Wrapping his arms around her petite body, he patted her back soothingly.

"I will come back soon, I promise." He responded as he pulled away from her.

Looking into her eyes, he smiled once again, "Trust me?"

She looked back and with a teary smile, she nodded enthusiastically.

He then whispered into her ear before straightening up and waved.

"Bye." He greeted finally and turned to leave.

And the girl? She obedient turned her back on him and bravely walked home, leaving the road.

What he told her, you might ask, well, the sentence went like this...

"You better go home and find your calendar, because exactly 1 year after today, I'm returning to you."
