eresy was proclaimed by those of The Church and a clear schism between the classes caused even more turmoil. Between threefold taxes for the poor, the expansion of illness and tyranny overshadowing natural order and turning uproar into a rich man's daily entertainment, civil uprise was becoming ever popular. Unwavering darkness cast over the lands; Peasants were exploited for what little they had and even the feeblest knight found it a joy to call a blow to his ego treason.

It was unclear who was supposed to be good; it wasn't the Kings, though they did preach it.

Creatures that had only been told of in drunkard's tales started to appear on the border between Old Leklim and Old Hezmeln and the news quickly spread to all corners of the map. Soon, the accounts of mythical beasts arrived in Central where knights looking for glory would take on the unbelievable conquests to defeat the so-called monsters.

Inevitably, those who chased the stories rarely ever returned.

Crusades and feudalism spread from North to South, East to West and the Central Kingdom seemed to be the only place prospering from all of the war and famine. The other leaders began their plotting to take down the hub of high life and trade but before they had a chance to make a move, rumours of an ancient artefact caught the ears of some very dangerous players.

And like that, the ferocious competition of the Four Kingdoms set off an ineffable chain of affairs.
