A A A A

Every year a billion stars die. Exploding into millions of different peices, just tiny, tiny little specks of stardust, held together by space and time. After a while, these stars will join back together again, forming a brand new star. A star with a diifferent name, a different flame. and all these specks of dust are once again whole. All together again. and the cycle goes around again and again. Never stopping, never changing, untill one day. about a thousand years ago.

All the stardust had already created the new star, but somehow they had one too many and one speck of dust was left out. Before long, this speck of dust was sent flying off into the universe. Travelling at the speed of light and floating into infinity, this speck of dust watched as thousands of planets died, its species becoming extinct, its world lost forever. It hurtled past stars, exploding but never being able to form again, its stardust lost of their power in just one part of a cycle. It wondered, this speck of dust, about these planets and galaxies, and pitied their fate. This speck of dust begon to long for the ability to save these worlds. To be able to stop the invasions and attacks, to stop the cycles from changing. This speck  of dust began to yearnn for something it could do. As it pased every new solar system, its desire grew. Stronger and stronger untill it could not fight it no more. But before long, this speck of dust found itself falling towards a planet it had never seen before. As it grew closer to this planet, it spotted a babe, lying in its cot, dreaming of the stars. recongnizing the oppurtunity, the tuny little speck whispered a quiet prayer before willing itself to burst into a hundred thousand different peices, to shower itself over the babe. With all of its remaining energry, the little speck wished with all its soul that this baby would grow older and set off into the Universe like the star had and save the planets and the stars. This little babe sighed, and turned over in his cot but the star did not die in vain, A seed of desire had been sown into the child that grew stronger and stronger as it grew older and older.

And one day, this baby would grow up and save the stars and the planets. One day, they would call this baby the Doctor.

I apologize profusely. The original was much more poetical and pretty, but I changed a few words and it became this. it's also 2:20 am in the morning. That's just a snippet of some of my more abstract shorts. I always thought that the Doctor was born from the stars...
