Power Exchange

Several hours passed. Several hours of eating every native concoction that wasn't still moving, sharing general chatter like normal girls their ages and drinking more than was responsible.

The gathering had started to die down and the mellow atmosphere wasn't much to the female duo's taste. Leaving no other option, the pair not so inconspicuously, had both picked up a container of alcohol in each hand and promptly exited the main hall.

Pausing, Malikah held up the drinks towards her friend. "Carry on down this corridor until you get to the end and then take a left."

"What are you doing?"

"I'm going to get something from my room and then I'll be straight back. Try not to get into any fights in that time."

"Yes Ma'am." Enigma sighed as she took the jars out of the older girl's hands and began shuffling in the direction she'd been told.

Making it within sight of her room, Malikah saw a familiar face ambling towards her.

Catching the woman looking right back at him, Judal removed his arms from behind his head. “I didn't expect to see you here.”

“This is the hallway right outside of my bedroom."

“Are you busy? You seem preoccupied.” He looked away as he waved his index finger.

A glimpse of a smirk flashed on the female's lips. “Let's go.”

“I never even said anything.”

“But you were thinking it.” Twisting the door handle and pushing it open, Malikah stepped out of the way for her company.

“Tch.” Judal's act of innocence paled in comparison to the look of utter confidence plastered across the female's knowing face.

Even before the door had shut, the woman's guest had sat on the edge of the bed. Flipping the latch of the lock, the female turned around to face the boy and made her way over to where he was. Without warning – Not like he needed much of one, it always ended this way – Malikah shoved his shoulder with some force, resulting in him laying flat amongst the sheets matching his eyes.

She loved it: That look on his face. How could she not? A hybrid of emptiness mixed with fear and wondering wrapped up in acute anticipation.

They had been like this for some time now; them happening to be at the same place at the same time, her taking him into her 'supervision', doing what was always done, then going their separate ways and eventually the scene replayed with him skulking back for another round.

She was older than him by three years and she knew she should act like the facetious senior that most people knew her as, and that of course was her initial plan before their meeting. But when she had gotten to the point of their first introduction, given plans went astray. When she looked at him she couldn't see the danger that her superiors had pinned to him: She could smell it. And it drove her crazy just being in the same room, unable to do anything about it.

He knew it too.

One specific evening – The first time they had shown each other a sliver of what had been on their minds - they had been stuck in one of the many empty rooms at the palace with her supposed to be teaching him something or other about advanced symbols and their purposes. As per usual, Judal lulled around, rolling about on the floor, adamant that he was already perfectly capable while Malikah had been chained down with the order of no alcohol until the lesson was complete. This, obviously, meant that she was already in a foul mood before she had even sat down with the brat.

She had given up on trying to reason with conceit personified and had taken to violently puffing on her pipe without a word when her torture crawled up on all fours. Tongue tracing his lower lip, the younger boy gave a throaty whine to get some of his tutor's scarce attention.

Peeking out from her right eye, Malikah just stared blankly with discreetly clenched teeth.

“Say, teacher...” He took another shuffle forward on his knees, his eyes intently boring into hers as he outstretched his right hand. “...How did you get that?”

The tips of his fingers had barely brushed the black mar beneath the girl's left eye when he was threw back. The thud of his head and torso connecting with the thick, rustic rug was soon forgotten when he realised the female had sat on him and had taken an unbreakable grip on his wrists. A deafening heartbeat that could only be likened to the war drums that excited him so much pounded throughout his body at the reaction he'd caused.

Lowering her head until it was impossible not to see the extraordinary colour of her eyes, Malikah spoke slowly. “Learn the symbols.”

He couldn't say anything.

The sheer pressure that she gave off with apparently no effort engulfed him and the unforeseen switch in character had taken him off guard. All he could do was blink to restart his thought process which in turn brought about a nod. If he were to admit to himself – which he definitely would not – he would confess to being over taken by a mix of fear and fascination that couldn't be ignored. Which, in itself, would turn out to be repaid by many dubious night time encounters.

Abruptly, the females eye's broke from Judal's and shot off to the side as if the owner was thinking. Cocking her head, she returned her line of sight and shifted at a purposely slow pace.

The attempt at remaining still proved futile. Biting down on the lip he was licking only a few moments ago, khol lined lids fluttered shut accompanied by a hitch breath. “...Stop...”

Smirk dancing on her lips, Malikah's eyes narrowed. “You're the one that started it. You and your uncontrolled body.”

“What else d-do you---”

Rolling her hips forward, she felt a sense of achievement over the reaction she was getting. “Expect?” She finished his sentence with the aim to lead him along, rather than to help.

“Please, don't...”

“Stop?” She whispered into his ear.

“Hm.”

“You don't want me to stop?” She asked mockingly.

By this point, the boy had lost all intention of speaking and had taken to gripping handful's of the fabric covering his tutors thighs.

“Maybe I should.” Taking Judal's clenched fists in her cold hands, she released her pants from his grip and stood up. “If you don't learnt those by nine,” She pointed down at the numerous scrolls strewn everywhere. “you'll be in real trouble.”

Coming back to the present, she had realised that she had mentally travelled back to that time and had neglected the boy beneath her at that very moment. She couldn't say that he had changed much from back then. Apart from provocations filled with fake confidence, that is.

'Mah, it's all well and good.'

Know Where You Are

“This is the hallway right outside of my bedroom."

“That's the next corridor along.” He looked away as he waved his index finger. "How can you forget where your own room is." Sniggering, the Magi returned his arms behind his head and set off on his way laughing, leaving Malikah to flush in embarrassment.
