"Hello?"

Tom woke up a little earlier than usual. He didn't even remember that he was asleep on the sofa rather than on the bed. He prepared his self and put some things back into its place before the TV crew came.

 

He just finished making a cup of coffee for himself when the bell rang. He opened the door of his apartment while sipping his coffee and was greeted by the host.

 

"Woah, check out who's looking good in the morning! Good morning, Tom," the host said and gave a brief hug to him.

 

"Morning, Jim," he greeted back and flashed a smile to the camera.

 

"It smells a fresh brewed coffee here."

 

"Well, I'm just done making it when you come. Come on in by the way."

 

"Thank you, and oh, everyone, I have to tell you that this is the first time ever Tom Felton shows us our home. Now let's see here, I have to say that this is a fine—I'm not joking, this a really fine—bachelor pad." Jim looked around.

 

Tom laughed. "Well, thank you." He then sipped on to his coffee again.

 

"Oh wait, talking about bachelor... Congratulation for getting engaged to the lovely Jade Olivia! How's your feeling to finally taking your relationship with her to something more serious?"

 

"I'm happy of course."

 

"Okay I'm getting like a gossip host here." Jim chuckled. "Moving on, can you maybe give us a little tour around here?"

 

"Actually there's nothing much. I choose to have a one room studio apartment so it will be easier for me to clean up the place, though."

 

"Don't you have any maid?"

 

"Actually a maid will come here once a week every Friday. But if things are not messy enough, I'll clean it by myself."

 

"Hmm a fine young man, aren't you?" Jim looked around again and went to the kitchen area. "Let's see here, kitchen stuffs..... Oh, I don't know that you have a sweet tooth, Tom."

 

Tom walked nearer to Jim and saw the cupcakes that Jade left him last night. "Oh, Jade gave me some of the cupcakes that she bought."

 

"What a cute couple," Jim said.

 

The filming continued for about one more hour when finally it was finished. Not long after that, Jim and the TV crew bid goodbye. When he saw the cupcakes that Jade had left for him on top of the counter, he threw it to the trash can.

 

"She doesn't even remember that I don't like sweet things." He sighed and shook his head.

 

Tom made a simple breakfast for his self and then turned on the TV. He was chewing on the bread when the news about them came.

 

"It is no doubt that Emma Watson and Louis Cordice is currently in 'the magic city' or also known as Miami! It seems that both of them are having fun together and enjoy each other's accompany. It's already familiar for us to hear that both of them have a secret relationship. But is it true that they are dating?"

 

Somehow, Tom felt something boiled up inside him. He furiously turned off the TV and slightly tossed the remote. Breakfast long forgotten, he seemed to be always deep in thoughts nowadays.

Emma hummed along the song. She loved the lyrics and had fancied Carrie Underwood's voice for a long time. Not to mention that she loved the movie Narnia, also. Tom hugged her shoulder and brought her closer to his body.

 

Nothing is better than your lover's warm in Christmas night.

 

She relaxed onto his body and placed her head on his shoulder. Emma had always love the atmosphere of his apartment; so relaxing and how the black and brown color mixed naturally—reminding her of a shady forest somehow.

 

Tom kissed her hair and then her cheek. It just felt amazing to have her by his side. They decided to not tell anyone about their relationship in hope that no one will disturb them. It's just Louis who knew about them, since he's acting much as their matchmaker.

 

As cliché as it sounds, both of them didn't want the night to end.

 

"I have something for you," Tom whispered at her ear. He took out a small box from his pants' pocket and gave it to her.

 

She accepted it happily. Inside, it was a Christmas-themed bracelet. "Oh my, I love it, Tom! Thank you!" She hugged him and gave a peck on his lips.

 

He was sitting in the same spot exactly when he was still 20. The differences were there was no Emma sitting beside him and it wasn't Christmas yet. One more thing, there wasn't any joy right now.

 

Tom sighed and took his phone which coincidentally placed on the sofa. He braved himself and looked down through his contact before pressing the call button and put the device on his ear.

 

"Hello?" A cheerful voice of one particular grown-up woman heard.
