Day 3 -

It didn't take the warlock long to realize that Alec acted like a cycle. After so many times of seeing it going around, it was a bit predictable. Somehow, he felt he would never get tired of it though. There was a comfort of having something so familiar show up so many times. Even after being around for eight hundred years, it was a comfort a part of him looked for.

"I feel like I'm boring you." Alec sighed, his bright blue eyes a bit darker than usual, underlined with some disappointment but not in Magnus but himself.

Shaking his head, glitter spreading a bit on his kitchen table, Magnus felt guilty on the inside. Had he really looked that bored listening to a simple story? "Of course not, love, I'm listening. Go on about the demon."

Alec faked a laugh, sitting back in his chair, running his fingers through his jet black hair. "I am boring you." Magnus opened his mouth to protest but the latter beat him to it. "Will you get tired of me one day, Magnus? I'm sure with eternity ahead of you, you don't want to be stuck around someone like me. There is a chance after all that I'll die before I'm even forty. I mean—"

Taken aback, Alec only blinked, raising a hand up this mouth to cover it, a blush that was rarely seen rising up to his ears. To shut the poor Shadowhunter up, Magnus had kissed him out of the blue. It was nice to add a bit of surprise to the usual routine.

"Shut up, Alexander. Nothing about you is boring, trust me. Look at it this way: I never imaged you to be such a talker. There's something exciting."

The idea sounded better in my head.
