Chairman Meow is just a cat. Alec knows this. Magnus, in Alec's point of view, doesn't always realize this fact. Or it seems to be like that.
He gives the cat toys that aren't worth the dollar that they are priced. They're much too expensive since he knows Chairman will just scrape at it until the thing is full of rips from his claws. There's no point in buying fancy cat nip when Magnus feeds the animal food off the table from time to time. One measly piece of bread is most likely more than that cat had ever had in a full meal before. So, yes, it was a big piece of bread.
"So you're saying that you love your cat?" And Magnus nodded. "And it appears you love the cat more than me." Magnus shook his head. "Then why do you spend more money on a mere housepet than me."
"Because it makes you jealous, dear. It's a cute side to you that I like to see every so often."

Each drabble is so cute!! To sum up--each is this lovely goodie bag of heaven that I could never imagine from a non-Asian fandom! I'm way too used to Korean fanfics /sob
And N1ghtshade, that poster is love. Although, I hadn't realized that Magnus is Asian in the movie...how did I miss that in the trailer?!
