one | frost [1192 words]

Knock! Knock! Knock! Elsa could hear soft knocks on her bedroom door at approximately 5:37 in the evening and she was reading another teen magazine of hers, covering her body with a blanket, her back facing the ceiling.

She heaved a deep sigh and shouted from inside, being the lazy Elsa again as usual while her eyes scrolling tomread the words written on a certain page of the magazine, "It's open!"

The door knob twirled open and it revealed a young, beautiful girl, with strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes, which resemble Elsa's, who happened to be Elsa's younger sister, Anna.

"Elsa, you better get dressed. Mom says that we'd be going to a restaurant to meet a family, the wife happened to be her pen pal. Be down at six, okay?"

Elsa answered the question with a nod of her head and a single hum. Anna shook her head with the respond by her elder sister, with a small smile plastered on her face. "Fine then. Don't be mad at me. I already reminded you."

"Okay, okay. I'll be there at.." Elsa pondered to herself for awhile before responding with a naughty grin, "..seven?"

"It's six, Elsa! S-I-X! There, I even spelt it for you.."

"I'm just kidding. Don't be mad, baby sister." Elsa lifted the blanket off her head and threw her magazine away to the headboard of the bed. She spun her body around, now finally facing Anna, still with the naughty grin.

Elsa was a tad bit different from Anna, having blonde hair rather than Anna's strawberry blonde hair and different personalities but their blue eyes match each other's and you know, opposites do attract.

"Just tell mom everything's already going to be alright. Do you know mom's pen pal, Anna?"

Anna responded with a shrug of her shoulders and a rub on the back of her neck. "I'm not sure, Elsa.. Maybe, mom wants to keep it as a secret. The only thing that I got the truth out of mom was the family name: Frost."

"Frost? I never heard of it but it sounds interesting. Alright. You better help mom prepare stuff."

"Are you shooing me away?" Anna curled her lips into an adorable pout, earning a loud laugh from Elsa.

"Nah, I'm afraid that you'd get bored or something."

"I wouldn't!" Anna sat beside Elsa on the bed and picked up the magazine that Elsa read earlier, waving it at the latter's direction. "I'd read this and it has the latest news of the love of my life!"

"Who is it?" Elsa asked with a teasing voice and arched an eyebrow; curiosity did kill the cat.

"Um, you know.." Anna could feel herself blushing and she hid her face behind a pillow she found on Elsa's bed. Elsa broke into another loud laugh and slapped her thigh, to stop herself from laughing too hard.

"Chris Evans, Mr. Captain America, right?"

"J-Just shut up and take your shower and get dressed!" Anna mumbled under her breath and still hid behind the pillow.

"I knew it." Elsa just shook her head with a naughty smirk on her face and raced towards the bathroom, taking a bathrobe along with her. She stepped onto the cold floors of the bathroom and closed the bathroom door shut.

Soon, a few minutes later, dripping water could be heard from inside the bathroom.

Anna threw the pillow off her face and grabbed the teen magazine, flipping into the pages until she reached the news of her so-called love of her life as she stuck her nose into the magazine with a shy grin.

Elsa began dressing herself up in front of the mirror after taking a quick yet refreshing shower; her hair in a left side braid woven with snowflake incrustations, and wisps of her bangs slicked back on top of her head, purple eye shadow, dark pink lipstick, off-the-shoulder crystal-blue dress with a right knee-high slit, a crystallized bodice, powder blue sleeves, long transparent glitter trail cape and ice high heels.

Her lips curled into a soft smile and she started walking towards Anna like a so-called professional model, who was now sitting on her bed and hugging her knees to her chest.

"So, how do I look?" Elsa questioned, biting her lower lip, her eyes making contact with Anna's.

Anna faced Elsa and she was surprised, more like too surprised at the gorgeous sight of Elsa. Words couldn't describe her elder sister's beauty. "Wow, you look.. gorgeous, Elsa. I really meant it."

Elsa began blushing from head to toe and her eyes twinkled at the thrown compliment. "Oh why, thank you.. But you look more gorgeous than I am; trust me, you need a suitor."

"I already have a suitor, who's now my boyfriend!" Anna protested and Elsa took a pillow, throwing it at Anna's direction but Anna caught the pillow, curling her lips into another adorable pout.

"Hey, what's that for?!"

"Your boyfriend's real, it's just.. he's not yours, Anna."

"B-But.. what if he's going to be mine anytime soon?" Anna's eyes also twinkled, starting to daydream of her first date with her one and only idol and that was also when Elsa threw another pillow at the young lady.

Anna caught it again and Elsa shook her head as a respond, cracking into a toothy grin. "I think he might have a girl–"

Ding dong – ding dong! The grandfather clock in Elsa's bedroom chimed, meaning that it was already six o'clock in the evening.

"Let's go, Anna!" Elsa took Anna's hand and dragged Anna out of her bed before switching off every single electrial appliance in the bedroom, then continuing her words, "We cannot let mom and dad wait for us for too long!"

Elsa and Anna arrived at the living room on time and their mother was still putting on some final touches on her face. She stole a glance at her two daughters, her cheeks turning tomato red and said, "Go inside the car, your father's starting the engine."

Elsa and Anna obeyed their mother, going inside their black SUV car as instructed. The two sat at the back of the car, giggling at the sight of their father was busy humming to the beat of an old folk song, which was being played on the radio that time.

Anna was busy gazing at the glass window and Elsa thought that she must be daydreaming about her not-going-to-be-her-boyfriend, Chris Evans for the gazillionth time. Elsa leaned back against her seat and also gazed at the window, heaving a deep sigh.

She began to wonder on how the Frost family looks like when they'd see them soon. Do Mr. and Mrs. Frost have a daughter or a son? Do Mr. and Mrs. Frost have good genes and behaviour? Do Mr. and Mrs. Frost look exactly real, not like the ones in the  film and the TV series adaption, Catfish?

Elsa hoped all of her questions would finally be answered when her family got into the restaurant and meet the kind-of-mysterious Frost family. She fluttered her eyes close and drifted to her dreamland, wanting to escape reality for awhile.
