I opened my eyes in terror, right hand reached outwards, towards the direction of the ceiling, as if not wanting a certain someone to leave me alone. Confused and is still sleepy, I forced myself to sit up and pulled my hand back, covering it with my left hand, sighing a little. It’s the nth time I’ve dreaming the same thing. Yet , by the time I woke up, I remember nothing but just a tiny bit of the dream I dreamt, but I know, it’s something that is important to me, and something that I should not forget about.  Looking out towards the window, I smiled sleepily watching the little birds chirping out and loud, accompanying the rising sun.

“My little baby girl! Rise and Shine!”

Suddenly, Papa’s face decorated the very window I am looking right now, with his grinning face and his overly happy aura that seem to fill the supposed to be calm atmosphere in the morning. “P-p-papa!?” I gasped, scooted away almost immediately from the window and whine a little, pouting. “Papa! This is the 2^nd floor!” I reminded him.

Papa, however, just laughed it off and opened my window, letting the fresh morning breeze filled my room, making me smile a little. “Papa will do anything to wake papa’s baby girl’s up~” He said, now sitting on the window’s mini balcony, letting his legs rests on the ladder. I sighed and get off the bed, walking next to papa and  give him a small peck on his cheek, giggling later. “I know that papa, but not to the point that you would climb up a ladder to the 2^nd floor! It’s very dangerous!” I whined at him and listen as he laughed and ruffled my dark brown bedhair.

“Don’t worry, Tsuki-chan~ Papa is still energetic~ Papa will not fall~” He said nonchalantly, petting still my head as he grinned and nodded his head. I pouted but sigh eventually, nodding my head, agreeing at papa’s words. Even if he were to climb mount Himalaya he won’t die even if he slipped. “Anyway, baby girl, go ahead and take your bath! Get ready for school time! Papa will be at kitchen, what do you want for breakfast today?” He asked, now readying himself to climb down the ladder from the window.

I keep quiet and think for a moment, “Maybe french toast and a cup of milk will do~” I giggle, nodding my head , looking at papa with a smile. Papa returned my smile and nod his head, “Alrighty, little one, papa will be climbing down the ladder so go and prepare yourself~” He winked at me playfully before he climbed down, closing my window in the process. I smiled softly and shook my head, finches as I heard a  loud thud and an “Owwieee!!” that came along. I sighed and facepalm, before I peek from my window, only to see papa crying out his famous crocodile tears while some students rushed over to aid him. I giggled and stuck my tongue out at papa when he noticed me, before the crocodile tears evolved into waterfall tears.

Finally, I went to the bathroom and proceed to prepare myself for school.

 

 

Looking at myself in front of a dressing mirror, I adjusted the jacket to rid of the crease and begin to tie the cardinal red ribbon around my collar , smiling after I’m satisfied with it. Later I turn my body around, making sure the black mini skirt is longer than the jacket, so that perverts won’t see what they are expecting to see. Then, I walked towards my bed where I put the black socks and sepia-colored shoes. Sitting down on the bed, I silently put on the socks, before proceed to on the shoes.

 

Once done, I took the bag and placed it on my lap, hugging it before I found myself thinking about the blurry dream I had last night. [What is it that I dream about?] I silently asked myself, standing up right now and adjust my long, slightly wavy dark brown hair before looking myself at the mirror, flash a small smile and begin to walked out from the room, only to return into the room once more to put in my Guardian’s clothed cuff into  my back, before I actually went down the stairs and walk towards the kitchen.

[Maybe time will tell…]

After having breakfast with papa, I kissed him on his cheek and saying that I’m going to school right now. He peek his head out from the kitchen’s door and remind me about the Guardian duty will also start today, in the evening, around 6pm. I laughed at the detailed reminder and nodded my head, “I’ll see you later, papa!” “Alright, sweetie, be careful and see you!” He chirped back before he resume cleaning the utensils. Well, I am the one who should clean the utensils but since papa kept on insisting me to go to class, then off to the class  I go.

“Moon-chan!!!”

I sighed, hearing the awfully familiar voice and the nickname that is calling me from afar. How many times have I told her not to call me by that name? I’d tell her countless time already and she didn’t even listened to what I said. Forming a small pout on my feature, I purposely fastened my steps, ignoring the whining and my nickname spilling out from her mouth as she tried to catch up with me. “Moon—c-chan! Hey! Wait for me! Moon-chan!” She whined and I sighed loudly, before I abruptly stopped walking and let out a small whine as she bumped into my back.

“Woah!” She squeaked out. I huffed and turned around to looked at her, pouting before I proceed to pinch the other’s soft chubby Pikachu-like cheeks, “How many times have I told you to NOT call me by that name?” I say, dark red-brown eyes stared at her, my childhood friend, goes by the name of Tsubaki Sora. She grinned foolishly and poked my cheeks back, “But you DID respond when I called you by that name,” I huffed and let go of her reddened cheek before I giggle, “Always the stubborn one,” I said to her, smiling at her fondly. She laughed and patted my head, before we both resume walking to class. “You’ve been friends with this stubborn once since we are kids~”

I laughed and nodded my head, “Yeah, good memories..” I smiled, walking towards the academy. Later Tsubaki looked at me, “Your duty as a Guardian will start tonight right?”  I smiled and nod at her question, “Yeah, I’m going to be busy starting from today,” Tsubaki hummed and nodded her head, “True that..” Later I looked at her confused, “But aren’t you going to perform your duty as a Guardian tonight as well?” She laughed and nod, “Of course I will, but we won’t be patrolling together and it’s kinda boring you know?”She whined , looking at me with her puppy hazel eyes.

I giggled and hold her arm, linked my arm with hers as we reached the academy compound, “Of course It will be boring but it’s for the sake of the students as well no?” I smiled softly, looking at her, “You wouldn’t want the students from Day Class wondering around the academy ground during the night , right? And if we WERE to go on a patrol together, we WILL end up talking and slacking off.” I winked playfully at her before she erupted a loud laughter and patted my head affectionately, “You’re totally right , malady,” she joked, now arriving at the classroom, saying greetings at our classmates.

“Oh my, look at the amount of presents on your table, Suki-chan~” she giggled playfully as she took her seat next to mine. I whine helplessly and looked at the mountain of presents, “Oh Good Lord, I don’t even asked for this.. where should I keep it?” I whine, sitting on my seat helplessly, eyeing the presents. Tsubaki grinned and poked my sides, startling me, “We could eat it later during our recess~ for the time being let’s hide under the table.”

“Big eater.”

 

But, we did open the presents and inside there is all foods, yummy, delicious looking food, and A LOT of confession letters directed to me, mostly. Knowing the both of us can’t finish that vast amount of food, we share them with the classmates and unknowingly, we have a class party during the break time. After school session, we bid goodbye to our classmates, as they walked out from the classroom towards their Sun Dormitory, while me and Tsubaki head towards the Principal’s office, also known as Papa’s office.

“Papa~ I’m home~” I said once I knocked and went into the said office, watching Papa busy signing the paper works. He looked up and smiled at me, before waving at Tsubaki, and later proceed to stand up from his chair and walked towards us, “It’s almost 6pm right now, and I’m sure you two cute little girls know what to do right?” Tsubaki laughed as she placed our bag on the sofa located at the side of the room before she said, “Principal, we are not little kids anymore~” to which papa whine, “You both are still little kids in my eyes!” Tsubaki giggled and shook her head helplessly, before putting on her Guardian’s cuff on her arm sleeves.

I smiled as I listened to their funny bickering but looked up when it’s all silent. Blinking dumfounded, I noticed both of them are looking at me with rather serious expression. Flinching a little at their scary change in mood, I tilted my head to the side, “I-i-is there anything wrong?” I asked, stuttering a little. Papa shook his head before he lean against the table, “Suki-chan, is everything okay?” he asked and I nodded a little, “Really?” came from Tsubaki and she received another nod from me.

“I’m fine , really, “ I giggled, looking at them, silently assuring them that I’m fine. Papa sighed and looked at me,  “But you have just recovered from fever a few days before,” he said worriedly , and Tsubaki looked at me, nodding her head, “Didn’t you feel any headache or anything?” I giggled and walked towards them, patting them on both their cheeks, “I’m fine, really I am. The fever is all gone and I’m here standing healthily”

Both of them looked at each other before they let out a defeated sigh at the same time.

“But if you were to feel comfortable, tell papa or Tsubaki-chan immediately okay?”

“Alright papa!” I giggled.

“Okay! Now off to duty!”

 

 

“Woah, it’s really crowded here,” I said softly as we finally reached the dorm gate. The gate which separates the Day Class students and the Night Class students.  Tsubaki nodded her head annoyingly, “True. And look at them,” She said, referring to the large amount of crowds, consisting mainly girls, shouting and screaming out their idol’s name. Not any singer or anyone , but their idol is mainly from the Night Class.

I sighed and looked at Tsubaki, helplessly, “Like it or not, it’s almost time for us to do our job,” Tsubaki nodded, “Alright, you take the right, I’ll take the left, make sure all of them are before the red lines,” “Yes, sir~” I said jokingly and laughed as she hit my head, before both of us make our way into the crowds and separating them from crowding the gate.

“ Guys! Behave yourself!”

“Kaname-sama!!”

“Hey! Stop pushing!”

“Everyone! Please cooperate!”

“Aidou-sama!!!”

[Ugh, they’re not cooperating..] I silently thought as I am in the middle of restraining the stubborn students.

DUP!

[No, not this time] I let out a small whimper as my head begins to hurt, but refuse to back down, the gate will open in a few minutes. Taking in a deep breath, I looked at the students who is infront of me, boys and girls, before I raised my hand in the air. Almost immediately, the students right infront of me begin to quiet down, and I giggled a little. Tsubaki seemed to noticed it and also raised her hand in the air, gaining attention of most students.

I started, “Students, please behave yourself alright? You wouldn’t want to let your idols from Night Class to see you all in such behavior right?” I asked them, and noticed most of them turned red a little, remembering the way they act previously. “If you want your idols to notice you, then behave yourself, and follow my orders. And Tsubaki’s orders too. But if you don’t, you will be facing Tsubaki’s wrath tomorrow morning, in the detention room.” I said, smiling softly.

“Which option do you choose? Follow Suki-chan’s order?” Tsubaki asked, before a small smirk formed on her usually cherry face, “Or face my wrath? My punishment is not the usual light punishment you know~” She said, taunting the students. I giggled, and both me and Tsubaki placed our hand down, the atmosphere grew silent and  I smile knowingly, “Alright!” I clapped my hands once.

“Those who wished to give their idol’s present, please stand on the right, and the rest, please stand on my left!” I said, now walking towards the gate, smiling as Tsubaki nodding her head satisfyingly, watching the students do as I say. “Ugh..” I flinches once more, holding on my head, the pain seem to come back. I bite my lower lip a little, flinches a little as the sensation come back, Tsubaki seemed to noticed me and come towards my direction, asking me a soft, “Are you okay? You don’t look good, suki-chan,” she whimpered.

“i-it’s just the normal headache, don’t worry about it,” I said, smiling weakly at her , standing up properly with her help and finally managed to stand straight, looking forward, noticing the students perfectly lined themselves like what I told them to do. The path for the Night Class to walk is now clear.

Tsubaki looked at me before she smiled and patted my head, walking to the other side or the gate. Looking at her watch, she said, “The gate will open in 3….2….1..” And the gate did open. I take a step back , making sure not to hit the students, a few meters above the red markings on the ground as a guide. The pain in my head seem to worsened but I will not let this trivial thing destroy the atmosphere. One of the student, the one I’m facing my back, a male asked me softly, whether I’m alright. I smiled at him through my shoulder and nod silently, “Don’t worry about me, thank you though,” I said, smiling softly before I turned to looked infront, watching as the Night Class students walked out from the gate, gracefully yet in a comfortable pace.

What is the difference between the Night and Day class students you asked?

The answer is simple.

Vampires.

 And Humans.

In one academy.

“Oh my, look at those cuties~” Said one of the Night Class student, no other than the blonde haired boy, Hanabusa Aidou. “So obedient aren’t they , Kain?” He chirped happily, smiling and thanking a girl while he accepted her gift, laughing softly as the girl blushes madly and almost on the verge of fainting. “Take care of yourself sweetie~” He winked at another group of female students after he took the presents directed to him from them. His direct cousin, Akatsuki Kain, let out a sigh and slapped the back of Aidou’s head, “You’re making the situation worse, look at the fainted ones, ‘Idol’ “ “Ehe~” “Don’t you fucking ‘Ehe’ me!”

            I let out a small giggle looking at the two cousins bickering and lean back a little, so I could see the one that trailed behind, Kaname-senpai lead the Night Class student, as always, on his right, the Princess of the Kuran bloodline, Yuuki-senpai, on his left, a special case, ex vampire hunter turn vampire, Kiryuu-senpai. Though I heard the rumors that the silverette is a prince of a distinguish bloodline. Rumors. Behind them, is Kaname-senpai’s childhood friend, Takuma-senpai, followed by another direct cousin to Aidou, Ruka-senpai, then lastly followed by the two models, Rima-san and Shiki-san. The rest trailed behind them, silently.

“H-hey! Stop pushing!” I heard from behind my line, confused, I turned slightly to the back and blink dumbfoundedly as the boy stands behind me earlier is bumping my back, turning me to step forward and fell on the ground. “O-ow…” I whimpered a little and huffed, “Tsuki-chan!”I heard Tsubaki’s voice and I could her steps that is coming towards my direction. I was about to stand up when I saw a hand held out towards me.

“Tsubaki, don’t worry about m---“ I looked up while I mutter those words but stopped immediately when I saw Kaname-senpai’s face instead of that idiot face. “It’s not a mistake to worry over a Guardian, right?” His velvety voice rings in my eardrum with a soft smile plastered on his face. “K-kaname-senpai..y-you don’t have to trouble yourself, really..” I stuttered helplessly, my hand holding onto his hand as he guide me to stand up.

He chuckled and shook his head, feeling him looking at me as I shyly looked down and wiped away the dust on my skirt. “How could a man leave a lady like you fell and let yourself to stand up?” He asked, brushing away the dirt on my hair. I sighed helplessly, and looked at him, troubled, “But I’m no one, just an ordinary Guardian,” I said, softly, and I could see his eyes twitch a little, as if denying the ‘Guardian’ part I blurted out earlier.

“But anyway,” I smiled, his red-brown eyes locked with mine, I could see Aidou-senpai looking at me curiously and so as Yuuki-senpai, though her eyes  is more like to ask me whether I’m fine or have I injured myself. “Thank you, Kaname-senpai,” I smiled, bowing my head politely.

He finally smiled and nodded his head, resume walking but not before petting my head once more. Tsubaki glared at the student’s behind me, with the exception of the boy who stand behind me earlier, “You’re going to get it tomorrow, brat. Meet me at the Punishment room, during break. Late even just one minute, you’re done,” she said, hugging my arm protectively. I laughed a little and patted her head, “Silly, I’m fine.” “Nope. I’m not gonna accept that as an answer!” She stubbornly insisted.

I sigh. When she is like that, I can’t do anything.

The girl who started the little accident looked at me guiltily, before she bowed 90 degrees. “I-I’m sorry Tsukirai-san!” I giggled and waved it off, patting her on her shoulder, “It’s fine, but still, you have to go to the Punishment room tomorrow, alright? And promise me not to do that again,” I scolded her a little, pouting. She whimpered and nodded her head a few time. I smile, satisfied, “Alright then,” Tsubaki said and looked around us , clapping her hand once , “Bring your ass back to the dorm. And don’t you DARE to sneak out tonight. Understand?” Tsubaki snarled at the students, glaring at them as murderously as she can.

“Y-yes ma’am!!” Shouted almost all of the students before they scrambled off towards the Sun Dormitory.

I looked at them pitifully, “Uhm.. Tsubaki-chan..t-that’s exaggerating.” 

Tsubaki looked at me , smiling softly, “It’s for their own good,” she said, now walking towards me and looked around me, “You’re not hurting right? How’s the headache?” She asked, concern laced her words. I smiled and shook my head, “I’m fine right now, really. The headache seem to go away but I’d doubt it will come back later,”

Tsubaki sighed and surf my dark brown hair a little, “You’re making me worried you know?” “Sorry..” I pouted. She smiled, but not as brightly, somehow I could sense she is smiling apologetically. “I’m the one who supposed to say sorry, you know, Tsuki-chan?” I blinked, tilting my head to the side, “What do you mean?”

She giggled and shook her head, “You’ll know why soon, but not now. The time doesn’t allow me to say it, but remember, Tsuki-chan,” she said, holding onto both my hand, “No matter what happen, me and Principal Kaien will always be with you, protecting you from harm and what not okay?”

In the moment of confusion, I just nod my head at her words.

 

┌ But somehow, I feel I was comforted by that sentence itself. I didn’t know what is going to happen, but I know, Tsubaki-chan and papa will be with me, by my side. Always.┘

XD so anyway, i'm sorry if it's too long, since i type about 6 pages long in my lappie, times new roman as font and it's font size is 11.oh and! the chapter's title got nothing to do with the story XD my mind is playing Becky G's new song : can't stop dancing and there's that XD And for now, i decide that i will totally not follow the Vampire Knight's events. .. well not totally all, just maybe some :3 If any of you got any suggestions ,please share them with me :3 and thanks for reading, leave some comment if it's possible and have a nice day! /pecks all of you
