A A A A

Inigo was currently a nervous wreck.

But hey, that was expected when his wife was out with the current party to go fight off Risen. The poor Hero class was currently back at camp along with those who also stayed behind. Some stayed to patrol the campsite, some stayed to relax, and others stayed to tend to their wounds.

Inigo was in the latter.

The last fight that happened was when the Shepherds had reached Valm's shores to defeat the enemy forces there and rescue their newest recruit, Say'ri. In the midst of battle, Inigo and his wife, Morgan, were teamed up in taking down enemies that were at the coastal village. Morgan was heavily focused on taking down some of the distant Valmese enemies with her fire tomes, she failed to notice an oncoming Dark Knight, with a lance at hand, ready to attack her. Before Morgan knew what was going on, Inigo jumped in to face the Dark Knight, taking the hit as the enemy's lance pierced through his left shoulder.

Inigo could only shout in agony from the pain as Morgan mecilessly killed the knight with her Arc Fire.

Morgan quickly tended to her husband's wound as best as she could all while shouting for either Lissa or Libra to come to their aid.

Once Libra arrived to heal the white haired Hero as best as he could in their situation, Morgan kissed her husband's forehead, thanking him for protecting her before going back in battle to help out Say'ri and Lucina, who were currently the closest in proximity.

Inigo could only pull a pained smile as he saw his sapphired haired wife take her leave before the man closed his eyes from exhaustion while the blonde priest was still tending to his wounds.

Back to the current time, about 2 days after the battle, one of the Shepherds announced of Risen approaching the campsite, 5 miles due north.

Chrom and Senri didn't waste time to rally up a group to go with them. Inigo was willing to go, however, his injury was still affecting him, causing for Senri to refuse Inigo in going so he could rest more. Morgan was all the more willing to go, making Inigo nervous if his wife were to get ambushed again. Morgan simply smiled as she promised to return to him safe and sound before heading out with the rest of the group that left

Soon word reached to the camp that the group had cleared the area from the Risen and were currently returning to the site in a few hours time. Inigo finally let out a breath of relief upon knowing that the group, more specifically his wife, were okay.

After a few hours, the group had made their return, making those cheer upon seeing that everyone was okay, whether being a friend or a loved one.

Inigo looked through the large group, attempting to find the beautiful mess of sapphire hair he come to love.

When the white haired Hero saw his brown eyed wife in view, he dashed past people before he came up and pulled the female into a loving embrace.

Morgan happily hummed as she returned the gesture. Once they pulled away, Inigo grinned at his wife, happy to see her unharmed and safe.

However, there was something off that the man couldn't quite pinpoint--

Ah! That's when he took notice of his wife's cloak being completly closed, but also noting the fact that the cloak was a bit big for her.

Inigo felt rather confused the moment he saw Senri approaching. The platinum blonde didn't have his cloak on at all, revealing his slim pale arms as he walked to the couple.

Senri sighed as he gave his daughter a look. Morgan sheepishly smiled as she looked at her father, leaving Inigo even more confused than before.

"Mind explaining what happened?"

"Well I..." Morgan trailed as her eyes moved in a different direction, avoiding her husband's gaze. "I...I changed my class."

The white haired man blinked, indicating more confusion that etched his face. "...And what about it?"

Morgan's face reddened a bit as Senri cleared his throat. "You'll have to see for yourself."

The Tactician wasted no time as he walked forward while the couple trailed behind. Inigo could only stare at Morgan with curiousity as she played with the hems of her father's cloak as they walked.

They soon reached Morgan and Inigo's shared tent. Once they went inside, Morgan hesitated a bit before she opened the large robe and took it off.

At that moment, Inigo's face was completely red.

The blunette girl had a different outfit than the one she wore, which was the same as her father. The outfit looked a tad tight but it hugged all of the girl's curves nicely and the small armor pieces adorned it perfectly. However, it wasn't those things that made Inigo blushed.

It was the top portion of her outfit that got to him.

He wasn't one to percieve his wife in showing much skin. Senri usually took off his cloak from time to time, but Morgan was another story. She didn't even take off her robe even when it was scorching hot outside and even gets embarrased to take it off when going to bed.

But lo and behold, here she was in her current outfit. It showed off the upper portion of her arms, which was nice. But well...the problem lied withe her chest area...

The cut the chest area was deeper than any typical outfit, leaving little to the imagination as it displayed quite the bit of clevege of the blunette's chest. Needless to say, it nearly matches about same cut as Panne's and Tharja's outfits.

Morgan was always so modest about showing her body but this outfit...

Inigo didn't know what to say. He was honestly rather confused about this. Yes, he would complement such skin showing on other women when he was still a big flirt before he married, but this was his wife for crying out loud!

"I understand she's your wife and all but I would appreciate if you didn't stare at my daughter like that." Senri's stern voice brought Inigo out of his thoughts as the white haired Hero's face was a darker shade of red now as he looked away from his wife.

"I-I didn't mean--"

"Father, please! He wasn't thinking of such thoughts. He's just surprised." Oh gods, did Morgan knew how to read her husband like an open book. She was well aware how Inigo used to be a huge flirt, but in reality, he was very shy of women. Heck, he was still shy of his own wife!

Senri sighed as he glanced at the couple. "Fine. I'll leave you both to it." With that, the platinum blonde grabbed his coat before taking his leave to find his wife.

Morgan and Inigo stood silent for a few moments; trying to find the right words to each other.

"Y-you look nice in that outfit..." Inigo trailed before cringing. Gods, that didn't sound good at all when he said it.

Morgan looked at the white haired man in surprise. "Y-you're not mad...?"

The Hero blinked once more. She assumed he was angry? Well this is rather new.

Inigo stiffled a laugh as look at the blunette. "Why would I be mad? You look beautiful. I mean, yes, the outfit isn't as modest as to what you wore before, but it's...kind of exciting to see a different side of you. I really didn't expect of you to change your class to an Assassin, seeing that you wanted to follow your father's footsteps."

Now it was Morgan's turn to blush a bright red. "W-well I...there's a reason why changed my class..."

The white haired man was even more curious. "Oh? Why is that?"

"I wanted...to be able to protect you..."

More dreaded silence carried into the tent before Inigo finally spoke. "To...protect me?"

"Yes...It....It pained me to see you get hurt like that just by protecting me because I was too unaware of even trying to protect myself. I want to return your the favor by being by your side and protecting you."

The pale haired man was shocked. He really didn't expect Morgan to change her class just to protect him. She trailed off her father's footsteps...just for him?

"Y-you didn't have to--"

"I know! I...I wanted to!"

Inigo felt his heart swell before taking the blunette into his arms. Morgan returned the favor as the two stood there for gods know how long, just enjoying in being in each other's arms.

Morgan was the first to let go; not before placing a light kiss on the white haired man's lips, causing his face to flush a dark red.

"Just so you know, if any man dares to look at you 'cause of your clothes, I won't hesitate to handle them accordingly."

"I-Inigo!"

A/N: And the first prompt is done! God, this oneshot sounded so much better in my head... Oh well. But also, I didn't like how it didn't revolve so much of the prompt as I thought but I was really stuck on how to present it... Anyway, also apologizing for the lengthy backstory in the beginning. It's kinda something I tend to do a lot.

But yes! I always thought that Inigo would just be embarrassed in seeing Morgan in that Assassin's outfit. I was pretty surprised myself in seeing her when I switched her to Assassain class in my game. Oh well. At least Morgan kicks some serious ass with that Lethality skill along with Gaius, Severa, and Owain.

I thought of another prompt now but I probably won't write it till late tonight or tomorrow. I'm pretty busy today out of all day.

Thanks for reading!
