Motion, Audio and Manipulatives Media

1) What are the implications of motion, audio and manipulatives media in education?

Motion, audio and manipulative media imply a more hands on learning for students. Students who learn better through doing can benifit through the use of manipulative media. Audio and motion media go hand in hand to teach procedural information that they can repeat over and over again without the need to waste materials and effort from the instructor. This would mean more efficient teaching in terms of time, effort and costs.

2) How do you plan to integrate digital motion, audio and manipulatives media into your learning and teaching specifically at your major?

Manipulatives media play a great part in teaching in the early grades. Some children learn better by touching things and doing actions so providing media that they can use their hands on  such as toys and other manipulatives can increase learning in children. One way is providing blocks, puzzles, sandpaper alphabet, abacus, etc to young children as toys. For digital motion and audio, we can play educational videos and nursery rhymes for the enjoyment of children and also to teach concepts such as counting and ABCs.
