1. What are the implications to education of these emerging technologies?

A lot of these emerging technologies can be harnessed into good use for education. If properly guided and developed, these emerging technologies can change the way we run our classrooms for the better. They can lessen work, time, and costs. They also make information and education in general more affordable, effective, practical and accessible to a wider audience.

2. If you would be given the chance to “invent” a new technology for education, what is it? Expound.

If I were to invent a new technology to aide education, it would be cheap and pass produced tablets that contain full courses, including the textbook material and voice instruction. It would be like a virtual classroom experience. The tablet would be connected to the internet via 3G or a faster way to connect and the information on the student's progress would be sent to a central record wherein the data shall be analyzed whether the student is making significant progress and will be able to move on to the next lesson or suplementary exercises and instructions shall be provided.
