Day 14 - angst love sliceoflife school tragedy - chapter image

A A A A

On one evening while Willy and the others were practising their basketball games, Kai was chatting with his Zach and Josh. Willy walked over to the bleachers to get his water bottles. He drank the water down. His ears perked up when he heard the name 'Alana' being mention.

Now, almost like everyone knows about Kai's having a crush on Alana. Which they don't know was that she's the wife of Willy. Little did he knows, he silently grew jealous. Willy didn't like the idea that Kai being with her. Well, except Kyle, of course. Willy felt his position been threatened. He put the water bottle cap back on as he listened quietly on their conversation.

"I'm asking her out tomorrow." Kai told Zach and Josh while he smiled all to himself. Obviously, he's in love with her.

"Wait, can I go with you guys too?" Josh butted in as he went giddy. As much as Kai wanted to invite his friends along with him, he can't. Afterall, he's trying to have times alone with Alana. Not in a dirty way but he wanted to get knowing about her more.

When Kai didn't reply a thing to him, Josh took it as a no. He obviously understand him. "It's okay. I'll go out with Hannah and Amaya instead."

Zach gaped almost immediately at him. He threw Josh are-you-serious look. Josh was so unbelievable.  "What? Don't look at me like I had lost my sanity."

"You must be crazy. Asking Hannah out is one of the impossible things in this world." Zach made it sounded like it's a big deal. Hannah lives with her stepmom where she would have a hard time going out. Her family are the traveller types. Kai chuckled as he watched his two buddies interact.

At the corner of his eyes, he caught a figure. Kai immediately realized that it was Willy. Willy seemed he's in pensive. "Willy?" Kai peek at him to look at Willy clearly.

Willy subconsciously broke from his pensive. He turned to the voice. Willy threw him a meek smile as he settled his water bottle on the bleachers.

"Hey," Willy pretended as if he didn't know anything about their conversation. Willy is the master of faking it all. He managed to hide it from the people so well. "I'm going right now. See y ou guys another day." He took his water bottle and bag as he walked towards his car without turning around any moment.

His mind was too full of how he's going to block them from going out. As much as he don't want Alana to go out with Kai, he can't. He cannot keep Alana behind when in reality he can go anywhere he wanted to. He felt himself being not able t do anything.

Right when he stepped into the house, he heard song being played in the kitchen. Willy took off his shoes as he dropped his bag on the floor and headed straight to the kitchen. There she was, the woman of his dream; was preparing for dinner. An apron was wrapped tightly around her waist.

As deliberately as she is, Willy found himself mesmerized in her. Something about her that always made his inside went crazy. Alana Cooper, the only woman that had made him like that. How the hell had he fall for her? Slowly, he leaned against the door frame as he watched her moved back and forth in the kitchen while carrying the dishes she had prepared.

Just by smelling out the aromas, Willy immediately felt hungry. Alana swiftly turned around and saw him gazing at her. She threw him a smiled. "You're home." She stated.

Willy pushed his body off of the door dram as he replied her with an appreciate smile. "I'm going to take a quick shower first." He told her as he turned to go.

"Come back here for dinner after this!" Alana hollered. At one time, she's very excited and happy and at another, she's mad and insanely ticked off. But when it comes to food, no one could prevent her away from it. Food is her most favourite things since she had gotten preggo.

After a quick 10 minutes, Willy eventually had retreated back to the kitchen where Alana had already setted up all the dinner. Like any other day, he was wearing a white tee. It's a routine to him without realizing. He took a seat opposite from her.

Alana had waited patiently for him no matter how hungry she was. "Dig in," she gestured to him.

If Alana became kind, she'll be super incredibly kind. Because that's how the real Alana. She have a very angelic side where you can't even hurt her.

Willy poked on his rice with his spoon as he scooped the chicken into his plate. Only then, Alana started to take the side dish too. As they was eating, Alana was started to plan her daily schedules when she reminded of Kai's message earlier.

Cautiously, like a cat, her eyes drifted to Willy who's eating like he doesn't really care how does the food tasted like. "Urm... Willy?" She cleared her throat as she sat straight. Willy halted. He looked at her as he watched her fibbed. It was too obvious to him. Willy nodded a little. "I was thinking that maybe... Can I go out with Kai tomorrow?" She arranged her words with careful just so she won't misintepret it.

He knew the question would be coming but he didn't expect it was so soon! He didn't even prepare what he's going to answer her. He acted like he didn't hear her. Almost inaudiblely, he hummed.

While on the other hand, Alana didn't even heard him. So she took it as a no. After all, he's the guardian of her. She couldn't ignore someone who takes care of her. She thought and thought. Maybe she shouldn't. Furthermore, there's a lot of house chores that she needed to do.

* * * * *

Willy was reviewing on the market stocks when Alana came out from the bathroom. Thankfully, she had wore her night gowns. Or else, he cna't even imagined how awkward it would be. Carelessly, Alana rubbed her hair with a pinkish red towels as if there's no other human being in the room. Willy tried so hard to not to be disturbed by it.

Too bad that his attention kept find her. He can't help but think that's the first time he thinks that she's really really sexy. Not in a dirty way. He found himself started to fall more and more for her. Willy now found his weaknesses.

Dumbly, he got caught by Alana as he was intensely looking at her. Her eyes blinked as she continued to rub her hair. Willy stood up from his study table as he sauntered over to their bed. He laid down on his side.

While Alana was busy with drying her hair, she shrugged it off. Maybe he's emotional. She contemplated.

Even when Willy laid down to sleep, he can still smell her cherry blossom cologne. It was too sweet for him to resist. Just like the owner of the smell itself. He was too much in his thoughts that he didn't realized her existence next to him on the bed already. With only the lights from outside the house lit the room.

Like a stalker, Willy peek through his closed eyes. Alana was trying to find the perfect spot for her to lie down to sleep. Maybe it was because of her hair. Or maybe the babies made her uncomfortable after a while. He unconsciously let his fingertips touched the end of her hair.

"It's damp," He said out of nowhere. Alana was a little surprised when he had talked because she thought that he had fall asleep. "Your hair." Willy referred to.

"Ohh." Only then she acknowledge of what he was saying. Willy sat up. "Come here, I'll dry your hair for you."

Innocently, she scratched her forehead like she had no idea what he was going to do. And indeed, she didn't. She watched as Willy walked over to one of the cupboard. He took out a hair dryer where Alana have no idea it existed before this. He then plugged it to the nearest switch and motioned for her come over. Alana came to him and sat on the floor as he sat on a chair.

He didn't say a word anymore and started drying her hair. Alana sat in silent as the hot air blew her hair. She caught the reflection of the two of them in the mirror. Instantly, she felt butterflies in her stomach that she suddenly blushed by herself.

"You must dry your hair before you sleep, sweetheart. Or else you'll catch a cold." He noted. He only made her blushed more when he uttered the word 'sweetheart'. Her inside churned madly like a girl in love.

In love. Yes, in love. Maybe she had started to fall for him? Or maybe it was just a natural things that occured when you have a boy friend which you're close to.

She could even felt his skin on hers whenever he lifted her hair up repeatedly. When he finally done, he combed her hair. As if she had just went to a saloon. "How come you can dry my hair so well?" She asked as she tilted her head around cutely.

He sheepishly grinned, "My mom hav ea few hair saloon in town."

Alana pursed her lips together and nodded. So that's how he had that skill, she thought to herself.
"Alana," he said.

"Yea?" she did it again. Tilted her head around cutely one more time.

"Don't do that." He managed to state.

"Do what?" she asked like innocently.

He let out a nervous breath. "That tilting your head around."

She subconsciously became puzzled. Was it that bad that it makes him agitated? Alana noted to herself.

"Because I'll fall more and more for you..." he said as their eyes intertwined. She find herself speechless by him. He himself was not expecting that he would confessed it out to her. He didn't actually meant it in a bad way yet he loves everything about her. So, there's no offense he'll fall for her more.

Willy watched as she turned around and stood up. She walke doer to the plug as she unplugged the hair dryer. She handed the hair dryer wire to him. "Thank... you." she said one last time before she turned around ready to walk to the bed Willy stood up from the chair and was ready to walk over to the cupboard earlier when he heard she called him.

Willy turned around ever so much as he didn't expected of what was coming. Then all of a sudden. Chup! A pecked landed on the lower part of his cheek, near his jaw. He was too slow to react on her when she had already ran to the bed, blushing madly like a freaking piglet.

Willy found himself giggled by her adorable action. On the bed, Alana was muffling her squeaked on her pillow. She must had been crazy to do that. She's insane!

Oh my Gosh! What did I do? She yelled in her mind.

That would be the day where she can't even forget a thing about them. And it's the first time she had kissed him. Well, not actually a kiss but it's still counted as one.
