Day 15 - angst love sliceoflife school tragedy - chapter image

A A A A

Willy's eyes bugged out when he saw Alana and Kai walked together entering the cinema hall. He can't even blink. And how was that he supposed to blink when his wife was on a date with his friend and what more was that in front of him.

Willy shifted uncomfortably in his seat. His eyes lingered on both of them. The two sat right in front of him. Maybe Alana didn't realize him there. It was too dark for anyone to realize anyone. But thankfully he have a good vision.

As the movie start, he can't even focus on what was showing. His gazed would drifted back and forth between them. He's like watching over his prey just so it won't walk away.

Kai slowly leaning towards Alana. And at that right moment, Alana turned around too. Willy can sensed that something is going to happen. Something he had forbid to happen. He watched in alarmed as Kai close the gap between them. Willy fibbed like crazy in his seat. And before he could do anything, they're already kissing.

"Shit." He mumbled.

It was just a dreamt. He sighed out loud. And then, he realized the space beside him was empty. Alana. The name popped on his mind. His stomach knotted and churned badly. If what he had dreamt earlier really happen, he swear he won't think twice and just lock Alana in the house till Kai would legally disappear.

He felt stupid for being helpless. Willy comb his hair to the back as herubbed his face a moment later. He stood up and made bed. Mostly, males won't even bother to fix their bed after they woke up but Willy wasn't that type of guy. Without thinking much, he sauntered to the bathroom and took a quick shower.

He wore a light pink shirt with grey nike's basketball short. Since they graduated, he would spent every morning having breakfast at home. A proper breakfast to be exact. He made himself a cup of coffee. He turned around walked over to the dining table and lifted the food cover. A slice of caserole was donely prepared on the table. He stopped and thought for a while. Since when did she got time to make this?

Nevertheless, he still took the caserole and brought it along with him to living room. He put the caserole earlier and a cup of coffee on the black glass table in the living room. Willy took the tv's remote and tuned in the channel. A moment later, he started munched on the caserole. Was it just him or the caserole tasted seriously good. He munched it whole-heartedly as if that was most delicious food he had ever ate. He took his coffee and sipped on it lightly.

Click!

The front door swung opened. Willy's eyes widened ever so much that he choked on his coffee. Alana had just got back from a nearby grocery when she simply twisted the door opened. And there he was, Willy was choking on his coffee.

Alana shrugged like she did nothing wrong. She closed the door behind her. "Alana?" Willy cocked his head in disbelief.

Alana turned around and threw him a weird look. As if she's an alien. "Y-You didn't go to the date? I mean with Kai?" He tried to digest all the situation.

She nodded. Alana raised her eyebrows. "Well, you didn't give me permission. Furthermore, I had so many house chores to do."

Willy gaped at her. Alana pretended like she didn't see it as she walked into the kitchen to keep the groceries she had bought earlier. Practically, she was a little upset. Yet she knows this was coming so she didn't expect much. Willy on the other hand trailed behind her with his breakfast what seemed more like a brunch.

He saw it all. The emotion and expression were well portayed. Alana isn't the type that could hide her expression well. "What's wrong? Are you mad because you weren't able to go on a date with... him?" He tried as careful as he can to not make her hurt.

Alana pursed her lips in a firm thin line. An edible sighed escaped from her pouty lips. "I found my letters in the mailbox at my previous house." She announced. Willy's curiosity just grew more intensed.

"And?" He questioned. "I wasn't able to get the scholarship..." Alana told him off. "They found out about the pregnancy..."

There was a silence between them as they each was in a deep thought. "But... how did they know about this?" Willy blurted. He was beyond curios right then. The two of them had been keeping it as a secret as long as they know. Was it Cara? Or Kyle?

"Nah, forget it... I had expected something like this." Alana meekly smiled. All were too obvious. The look in her eyes tell something else. "I'm sorry," Willy apologized. If he didn't made her like this, there's no way she won't get the scholarship.

She searched for his eyes and simply smile like there's nothing wrong. "It's okay. But you owe me a lot, you know." She took out all of the groceries and put it in the cupboards. Willy leaned on the counter as he continued munching on his unfinish caserole. Speaking of the food. "How did you make this caserole?" He pointed at the food with his mouth.

Alana halted what she was doing and spun around. "Oh, that?" She pointed with her forefinger. Willy nodded. "I just followed the recipe book you bought." She good-naturely shrugged. Willy looked on the shelve.

True that he used to buy a lot of recipe book as he try to make a living of himself. He tried and sort out every food that he wanted and craved for. But as always, a boy is a boy. He didn't make it that much. Sometimes, it will trned out become a disaster. And some other time it would turned out something you can just eat.

"I'ts good, actually." He stated as a matter of fact. Alana beamed. "Thank you. I don't really cook, but since you're complimenting me." It was really grateful that someone really did appreciated her cooking.

Around 5, Willy helped her with picking up the laundry since the day was getting darker. Alana was asleep. She looked so tired that he doesn't have the heart to wake her up. Instead, he did it for her. Moreover, its not her clothes only. But his as well.

He settled the basket in the living room. His eyes wandered off. Something was ringing. A phone!

However, he's positive that it wasn't his phone. He saw a white iphone on the table lamp next to the bed. A name appeared on the screen. Someone he didn't expect. The last person on his mind, Kai.

The phone kept ringing that he's afraid it would wake her up. On second thoughts, he turned the phone silent. He later set her phone on the table lamp again. Willy sat at the edge of the bed. He gazed at her figure. She looks chubby. It was so obvious to hide at this rate. He don't even care what them people would talk now. All that he acknowledged was that he wanted to keep this woman by his side till the day he breathed his last breath. It's all to fast. After all this time, she's his. She's the ideal woman of his life and he loves her beyond his intention.

Willy pushed a strand of hair away from her face. Alana shifted in her sleep. She's a light sleeper. Her eyes recognized him. "What are you doing?" she asked. He tried as hard as he can to keep himself from smiling. Didn't she knows that how cute her sleepy voice was? And her lisp just turned out really obvious when she's sleepy.

"What are you smiling at?" she ceased her eyebrows. And by now, she's fully awake. She sat up and throw him an iquiring face. Willy can't held it back anymore. He grinned stupidly at her. "Nothing."

She scrutinized her eyes ever so small. "Don't you nothing me." He chuckled and patted her head like a small girl. He walked out of the room leaving her in curiousity. What was he doing? She contemplated as she got up.

Alana didn't wasted any time and took a hot bath. The weather was slightly cold. She poured the water in the bath tub with her forefinger. Without realizing, she started singing.

Alana could careless if someone would heard her. She giggled when she remembered an old memories. That was when she was younger. She had tripped in front of her elementary school and farted out loud. What an embarassing moment.

Willy whom was walking past by the bathroom heard her giggling. His intention was that he's looking for a document. He halted and chuckled by himself. Really, she could simply made him laughed without any particular reason. H resumed to his search as he shook his head slightly. Alana, Alana... He sighed.

She really did enjoyed her long hot bath. It had been a while she had did so. She wore a light red tee and a short. Like she usually did, she put on some lotion just that she had changed her lotion. And to her own displeased. The new lotion's smell wasn't really to her likes. She'd prefer the old one. Earlier when she went to grocery, they were out of stock.

She strode in to the living room. Willy was flipping his works on the black glass table with the tv was on. She noticed that he's wearing his glasses again. As what she remembered, Willy only used his glasses when he's studying or either if there's something important. She waved it off and sat on the couch.

Alana accidentally pressed the tv's controller and ended up tuned in some health and living channel. And she heard a sound of baby's squeked. Her eyes immediately glued on the tv's screen. Willy who heard it also look up from his work.

A newborn baby was being wiped with a white clothes. The baby made a loud wailing noise. The mother of the baby looked relief when she hold the baby in her arms. She kplanted a kiss on his forehead as she smiled appreciatively.

It hits her. Alana realized that's how a mother always felt when they gave birth. Even when Alana no longer have a mom, Alana was thankful to be born in to this world.

A few seconds later, they flashed out when the baby was already five months old. The baby really grew up fast. He had his eyes opened. A small giggled emitted form his lips.

Alana somehow admired the scene. She felt a loving feeling tugging at the bottom of her heart. She smiled when the baby recognized his mother so well.

"Aww." She awed when the baby ran into his mother's arms. For a moment, she had totally forget that someone had his eyes on her. He laughed when he watched her awed to herself. Subconsciously, Alana frowned. "What?" She peered at Willy.

Willy beamed as he shook. "Nothing." He faced his work again.

"Sheesh. Freaking do your work already, daddy." She insulted him. It was meant to be an insult! But he laughed at her. She scrunched her nose and crossed her arms to her chest with an annoying look plastered on her face. Stupid ass.

Hey guys. A very good afternoon. Yesterday, my granddad left us. It felt fresh the memories of me and him.
He talked about buying a lotion my aunt used which smells nice. He asked me, was it 'Daia.' To those who lives in Malaysia surely know what Daia is right. And I laughed at him. 'Really? Daia?' And he himself laughed at his dumb brand. I started my day with a lot of effort too. But then, you would never could forget something so easily.
Anyway, I missed school. And last Thursday, I heard that Cara took picture with him. You know, she was telling me like she was the only one there. I figured out that there are so many people there too. That 'cangkul' really ah, spoke shit. I'm getting agitated of all her fake friendship. Stfu. -.-

And felt like gonna bitch slap her or something

And don't freaking sweet talk to me
