All it takes is a spark

To light the torch inside our hearts

To ignite the fuse of bravery

To end this miserable slavery

 

Nothing is worse than a blackened sky

Crushed hopes on a long night

Hardened minds towards times when

A flame existed inside of them

 

But the flame can do so much more

Do things that can never been done before

As the flame strengthens in numbers

Maybe one day we can do wonders

 

Together, as one, we can unite

To end the hard labour and long nights

To see our children as equal

To let them be their own people
