"Cindy, wake up!" Her mom called up the stairs. She was dressed, ready to attend a job meeting. Cindy came of her room stumbling and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. Crystal on the other hand, flung her door open and bounded out next to Cindy.

"HIIIIIII MOM!!!!!" She waved a teddy bear around in the air. Crystal looked around excitedly. "Where are we going?"

Her mom chuckled from below the staircase and Cindy ruffled her little sister's hair. "Silly, I'm getting ready for school. Go back to bed. You have about one hour left to sleep." She gently pushed Crystal into her room. "Lucky you."

"Alright girls, I'm going to work!" Cindy's mom called out.

"Yeah, have fun!" Crystal called out.

The two girls heard the door close and Crystal scurried back into her room. Cindy got ready for school.

------------

Brring.

Homeroom bell rang and Cindy just made her way into school. Great. She was already late. She looked around. Where were the teachers who were always roaming the hallways ready to give out detention?

Cindy glanced down at her watch. It said there were ten more minutes before Homeroom. So why did the bell ring already? Maybe her watch was off. She adjusted the time and rushed to her locker.

She twisted her lock dial but it appeared to be stuck. She twisted it again to no avail. Then she tried twisting the heck out of it. It still didn't budge. Cindy sighed and set her backpack down at her feet. She looked around nervously. She was already late and now this? What had she done in her past life that caused her to deserve this?

From the next set of lockers, Mia, Kayla, and Zoe peeked out and giggled. Mia was holding a bottle of glue and Zoe was putting on rainbow eyeshadow. Like last time, Catherine was looking bored as ever. She was used to this. The same tactics again and again each time a new person moved in. She chewed her gum and blew a bubble.

Alison appeared behind them. "Did you manage to rig the bell?" asked Kayla. Alison nodded with a triumphant smirk.

They watched as Cindy fumbled with her glued lock frantically. Catherine poked her head around the lockers. What an idiot, she thought. Can't she tell this is a trick or is she just plain stupid? She heaved a sigh and rolled her eyes.

The layer of glue broke on the lock and Cindy smiled victoriously. She opened her locker and dumped out half of the contents from her bag. Then she ran across the hall into Homeroom.

The five other girls watched and Kayla ran and knocked on the boys' bathroom. A couple guys filed out and watched as Cindy entered the classroom. As Cindy opened the door, a bucket of chalk dust fell on her. Everyone snickered.

Cindy, now with white hair, looked around the classroom. Where was everyone? Where was the teacher? Not knowing that she wasn't supposed to be in the classroom without a teacher present, she took her seat and brushed the white dust off her hair. Now she only had black hair with gray streaks here and there.

Five minutes passed, then the teacher strolled in. She halted with a surprised look. Then her face crumpled into a frown. "Cindy Wang," she put her hands on her hips. If she had been any older, she'd be an old grumpy grandma. "What do you think you're doing here?"

Cindy's eyes rounded in surprise, "What?"

Thinking that she was challenging her, the teacher passed a pink slip to her, "Dentention after school, Ms. Wang." Cindy opened her mouth to protest but she didn't know what to say. If anything, she was confused.

Another couple minutes passed and her classmates came piling in, pushing each other in the process.

They took their seats and the first period bell rang.

Cindy looked at the classroom clock then at her watch. Her watch was ten minutes off.

Catherine and her little posse passed by and she watched as they all smirked at her. Catherine raised her eyebrows tauntingly.

Cindy frowned. What butts they were.

Yup, Cindy didn't curse.
