Chapter 9: Xiaoling’s Discovery of Her Accident 

 

What had happen in the last chapter…

Xiaoling saw a huge building and went in with her ‘guides’ following behind. “Welcome.” Two girls said formally but still greeting with (to Xiaoling’s view fake) smiles. So fake. Forcing it is the word….. Xiaoling thought. Then she continued to walk until she fell over and her face hit the ground. She screamed as she fell so basically everyone saw her fall. “OWW! OW! OW!  OWWWWWW! OW!” Xiaoling shouted. Tears were starting to fall out, but of course she wouldn’t cry because she didn’t want anyone to see her cry. Stay strong. Ow ow!  Xiaoling was still on the floor, lifeless. The whole building was quiet waiting for Xiaoling to spring to life. To come back to earth. If she was even gone……

Xiaoling’s POV

I was walking through the doors that I thought I’d never thought I would ever come back to, the ones full of childhood dreams. The one I had to abandon. The ones I had to leave and forget. But I’m here again with new friends and guides. I was walking through the door then two people came and said, “WELCOME…. (and have a bad day… shoosh james)” they said. I think they were faking their smiles. Scary….. But suddenly I felt like I was falling well actually I think I slipped my foot. Shit. “AHHH!” I screamed. Oh no, I’m falling! Then suddenly I hit blackness. I said nothing……. Black….. After not long hitting into black darkness I realise I fell.  Pain started coming through me then it started to creep slowly to my head. I felt like I’ve been drowned and then floating to…..my death. Tears were running, urging to come out….but….I held it.  I told myself not to cry, especially in front of everyone, a whole lot of everyone…… I wanted to run away from here but I couldn’t. My body ached. It wouldn’t move. Then it hit me like a bullet shot through you but worse. That’s when I shouted even more, in pain…. “OWW! OW! OW!  OWWWWWW! OW!” But inside my head was stop, please. Don’t shout. I want to go, far…… I’m too…….pain….seeping through me…. I cried inside my head but kept shouting until I really fell into darkness. I could still feel myself breathing but just barely…. I think so.

 

Third Person

Ash, Brock, Dawn and Pikachu walked behind Xiaoling as they entered two girls welcomed us. They smiled but suddenly they heard a scream in front of them. They turned from the two girls and saw Xiaoling hit the ground screaming. They stood stiff onto the ground, unmoving as they watch her. They watched her scream in pain. Then they watch her lifeless body. Saying nothing they slowly approached Xiaoling’s body. Tears were streaming from Xiaoling’s eyes but she wasn’t awake, her tears just rolled out. They were stunned, the image of Xiaoling falling rolled over and over again in their minds, like a broken record. “Pi-ka-pi……” Pikachu whispered. Pikachu walked towards Xiaoling and shouted, “PIK-A-PI!!”

“Pikachu, that’s mean. But……We should take her somewhere.” Ash replied to Pikachu.

The accountant at the register came over to them and got them to a room they could get for free since they felt sorry for Xiaoling. A couple of people felt sorry but couldn’t do much but call for a doctor.

                        -Time skip!!!-

“She should be fine. She just had fallen hard onto the floor and landed at some of her pressure points and her head.” The Doctor said.

“Thanks Doctor Rue. We really appreciate the help but we need to get going soon, we’ll leave her here while we go.” Ash replied.

“I don’t think that would be a problem but I think you should write a note to tell her where you are.”

Doctor Rue left the room with Dawn and Ash inside. “Ash I think we should get going.”

“Okay Dawn.”

They left Xiaoling in the room.

“Brock, could you write a letter, telling where we are for Xiaoling?” Dawn asked.

Brock nodded and started writing on a piece of paper on a table he then sticked it on the door of their hotel room. “There, we can go now Ash.”

Ash nodded and left with his friends.

                      ~Xiaoling. In her Dreams~  Xiaoling’s POV

Woah. Where am I? I…don’t….remember……..anything…. What happen to me? I think I fell and I was in pain and then…..I went blank…. Now I’m here but for some reason I think I’m in some nice comfortable soft place. I feel peaceful and calm. But where am I?

THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!

Woah. The…Did the floor just vibrated? THUMP! Not again. Woah. “la,la,la!” A voice sang. Wow… The voice is loud and beautiful….. “LALALALA!” That voice is beautiful but really loud. What the heck is THAT! Is that a girl, gigantic girl? “Look, it’s a dolly!” She’s reaching her hands to…. ME!! Run! I ran and ran until I fell into a hole like the hole in Alice in wonderland.  “WAHH!” I screamed. I kept falling and falling. Until I was softly floating down and landed on my feet. Look a white rabbit with a waist coat and looking at a clock watch…. Cute.. Wait what! It’s the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland! Suddenly clouds surrounded me like a fog and then drowned me into a sleep. No! Don’t! Help ME!

 

“AHHH!” *Puff. Puff.* “Where am I? What nice bed. Huh?” I can’t move properly.” I muttered. I tried moving my arms and legs. “Move! Anything, please just move.” But nothing would move. I struggled to move my fingers or toes but nothing worked. I gave up and started staring at the ceiling. I felt a shock and then my whole body felt tingly for a second then it stopped. I felt my arms strike in pain. “OW!” I used my arm (without thinking) and grabbed it. I sat up my bed and then It shot me. “I CAN MOVE!” I got out my bed and stood up but I felt dizzy so I sat back on my bed. “What time…..” I looked up and saw the time. “12…”I mumbled. I thought I would be asleep a lot longer than this.. “Oh well… Hmm. I think I feel a lot better. (ggrr) It sounds like I need food.” I got out and stretched my arms out and opened the door. “Nice lounge.” I muttered to myself. “Let’s see what I’ve got to eat. Or to cook….” I opened a few cupboards and the fridge mumbling “Let’s see what we have here… Let’s see….” Until I found a cup of instant noddles. “YUM!” I took it out and did everything to make it. Once everything was done I started eating it. It felt like I’ve haven’t eaten for DAYS! Eat, EAT, EAT! “Hmm….?” I looked at a calendar hanging on a wall. I walked over to it to see. “Wahhh!” I screamed. I nearly fell over but found my balance again. I leaned over at the calendar to see a closer look. “Shit.” I muttered. If I remembered correctly it was supposed to be the DD/MM. But now it’s crossed out with another one crossed out the day after. If I’m correct, if you cross out one day then it’s a day that’s been done so that mean……. “I was in bed and dead for a whole  TWO DAYS!” I exclaimed. Nooooo! I’ve must’ve fell over really badly.

Huh? The doorbell? I wonder who it is… I went over to the door and saw a note but never read it as there was someone at the door. I opened it and saw no one. Must’ve went or something. Huh? “What’s that?” I mumbled to myself. I bent down and picked up a paper saying, “Beach Rose Times”. I think this is the town’s news. Interesting. I closed the door and went over to the kitchen table. I got some utensils and started eating my instant noddles. I slurped my noddles and opened the newspaper and started reading. I kept reading until a headline shot me, hit me and it was somehow bigger than the others I’ve seen. “Fallen Girl at Beach Rose Hotel.” I read. I continued reading until the end. The whole report shook me. Stunned me. The girl in that story was……..me…….. Tears were forming but I held it back once more. What had happen to me was big and the scariest thing in my life.  This was no dream I had that time it was me in heaven or well I think it was. Essshhhh. I’m thinking too much. I decided to get another spoonful without thinking (since I was automatically eating) and when I put it to my mouth I was chewing on nothing. I looked down and saw I had none. “OH well.” I said. I got up and started cleaning my mess. “There. Done. Time to go!” I cheered. I walked over to the door and saw the note again. *face palms* “I’ve completely forgotten about this. Let see:

 Dear Xiaoling,

We just wanted to let you know that we’re out, just encase you’ve woken up. And you’ve been asleep for two days if you include the day you fell or fainted. Now I think there is food in the kitchen, so suit yourself some food, okay.

Hmmmmm…….” I read. I see…… Well I guess I should go off too. Don’t forget to write a letter. I quickly scribbled down a note and place one on the kitchen table and another one encase they don’t see the first note and stuck it onto my bedroom door and left. I think on their note said there should be a spare key for me. “Where is it? Huh? What’s that?” I asked. I went over and saw a tag on top of it saying ‘Spare room keys for Xiaoling’. “That’s the key I’m looking for.” I quickly grabbed it and ran out the door and made sure it was locked. I quickly ran down the stairs and started exploring the town.
