Chapter 15:  Plan Set. Let’s GO!

 

“AHH! Hmm, was that a good idea to do that to them? I mean, we’ve never seen each other for years and there is a big GAP *hands in air and shaking them* between all of us especially me since I was young.” Xiaoling shouted. “But I guess……urhhh I can’t decide if that was a great move.” Xiaoling muttered pulling her hair in frustration.

Previously on Nothing Than a Pokémon Adventure,

Xiaoling had experienced many things back on ‘Chapter 14:  Not Them Again! Huh? AHH! A Little Help Won’t Hurt!’ She had finally experienced waking on a prefect day after the tough days she has experienced. Then on that perfect day that she wanted to keep going, Team Rocket appears and grabs her! Not only that, she experience a burn from a Chimchar from another trainer named Key. So from then, a lady comes to help with the burn and called herself Kora DAI!! They finally realise who they were! They were siblings of each other. Xiaoling had rejected them, and…..

“Ahh, Xiaoling. I thought you’d never accept……” Ash said.

“Why?” Dawn asked.

“Huh?” Xiaoling turned around and saw them with questioning gazes. “I’m pretty sure you have an answer yourself, Dawn.”

Dawn nodded. “But why? Why did you’d have to think about it? I’d probably run to them and say YES!”

“Well, my life has always been different and changing all the time. Missing people, forgetting some and running away from everything. I guess it was hard to choose, between past, present and well future.”

“Nicely said, Xiaoling. Everyone has a different kind of journey as a kid so….” Brock said.

“So obviously I would’ve said that at first. How else would I say it? ‘Sure but….’ It would be odd; as you’d clearly know that I had a difficult time and said NO!”

Brock nodded, “So that’s why you’d said no.” Xiaoling nodded at Brock’s statement.

                -Previously that Afternoon-

Xiaoling’s POV

Hmmm. Why does she has the same name as me. Dai. Why? Whatever I’ll just give her my arm to take care of. My arm was burning in pain. Ahh, oh well at least my arm aren’t roasted off. Eww. *shudders* Yuck, imagine that, anyone crazy would think about it. Huh? This hurts but people will think I’m stupid not to say a simple ‘thanks!’ Sheesh. Mehh. Huh? This is painful, sure it helps with healing but it freaking HURTS! What kind of stuff is this, there’s some dumb liquid stuff, then some kind of cream and some kind of crazy stuff.

“There done!” Kora said to me, smiling! Seems like it’s the right time to say ‘thanks.’

“Thanks. [I’m in pain, pain you hear me! Pain! I’m in AG-GO-NY!!] =_____=’ But it still hurts.” I said bluntly to her.

“Don’t worry it will heal soon.” She said. Yeah sure I know! Sheesh.

“I don’t care if it will heal soon, I just don’t want it to hurt.” I mumbled to her. I saw her face and she looked hurt. Damn! She must’ve heard me. Huh? She looks like she’s trying not to notice what I’d said to her. She’s acting like nothing had happen but her body language is showing everything! Duh! Huh? I looked around and saw that same trainer who save me and burnt me at the same time. He was running towards me, probably saying sorry. Get ready to say it’s okay! Sigh. I think he called himself Key? Maybe. Why? Why does these names sound so familiar? Hmmm. I swear, I’ve heard these before. Here he comes.

“Hey. Sorry for that burn. My Chimchar didn’t mean to do that.” Key apologised. Duh! You should be. *mentally face-palms* Idiot, don’t show the I-am-pissed face. Inhale, exhale. Now talk, Xiaoling.

“I don’t care, not to worry. I still have skin and I’m alive.” I said blankly. I saw Dawn came by me and then muttered something in my ear. “Is this how you thank people?” She asked me.  I shrugged my shoulders. Fine, fine here goes nothing. *Smiling sweetly* “Thanks, um…. Kora and Key.” Sheesh, why is it hard to remember their names. Oh that’s right! I JUST MET THEM! What the heck. They both smiled and nodded. “Glad to help any little lotus.” I swear I’ve heard of that.

“Hey, Xiaoling! Are you okay? We better go because I have to get back to my training.” Ash shouted. Oh, I forgot he was still doing my favour. Well at least his keeping his word for it. Guess we better start going.

“Xiaoling? Xiaoling Dai?” Tonikey and Kora asked. Hmm.

“Yes. So? /why does everyone know my name and I like don't know anyone.”

“It-it must be you. My baby sister!” They said in unision. Urhh. What does siblings got to do with anything.

“Look for-Arhh!” I shouted. Ohh. Just remembered. I saw Kora and Key jumping into the air and then, oh no, arhhh! Stop! Can’t breathe. Then they let go. “Finally, need to breathe.”

 “Oh, I’m so sorry I left.” Kora said. [me-…………..nothing to say………………….]

“Me too.” Key.  [me-………………again nothing to say………………………]

“Wait a minute. You’re my brother and sister?” I asked them. They nodded. “Gotta be joking. You guys suck! You left me! But this is all the past. Bye.”

“Wha? You’re not gonna cry or anything?” They said together to me.

“Nah. You guys aren’t special as you used to be.” I shrugged again.. Fine, I guess we can talk about this.

I heard Ash whispered to Dawn and Brock, “Hey, is Xiaoling rejecting her siblings?” I saw both of them shrugged in reply.

Fine, fine. “Fine. I’ve made a plan. That will be suitable for all of us. I will talk to you, Kora and Key and then once we’d talk about it. Then we set our plan from there.” I said already planning out something. “Sorry, Ash.” Ash nodded.

“Come on guys, let see if we can have other battles. Let’s come back at the middle soon.” Ash said and walked off. I watched him walked off then I looked at my siblings. “Come on, I think you want to meet them. Plus we can talk there.” I said and they nodded and yes also leaving them clueless. I walked towards a café it was more welcoming than usual. He must be very happy. “Poké Latte Café.” My brother said. I nodded. I walked in without a second thought.

“Welcome! Oh, hello Xiaoling. You seem like you’d brought new friends. Would you like me to call for my boss?” The woman asked. It was Becky.

“Hi Becky. Yeah that would be great. I really appreciate but is there a table where no one can hear?” I asked Becky. She nodded.

“Over there. Do you want something to eat too?” She asked while pointing at a table in a corner. “Yeah sure. I want a caramel sundae. What about you guys?”

“I’m fine.” They said in unison. I’m starting to think if their secretly twins.

“Are you sure?” I asked them to check. *face-palms NOT MENTALLY* “I forgot I still don’t have money.”

“I’ll pay for you.” Key said. I nodded. “Are you sure?” Just to show I’d cared a bit. He nodded. “Sigh. If you say so.” Then I nodded Becky to go and she walked off. We too walked towards the table. Silence. Not again, I’m just a little girl who is experiencing loads of awkward silences! A few minutes passed in SILENCE!! Freaky.

“Becky! What are those kids doing there! It’s for only-” A man’s voice shouted at Becky. Hmm. I wonder who’s shouting at Becky. I decided to look around and smiled. YAY! I got up and ran to him. “HIYA!” The man looked at me and smiled. “Hey, Xiaoling what are you doing here again?” He asked me. I shrugged and pointed my finger at the tabled we were sitting in. He looked at where I was pointing and walked over there. “Excuse me but I think this table-”

“No, no, no! You’ve got it all wrong. There my real brother and sister.” I said at him. He looked at me and stared at them.

“Hmmm. Nice to meet you again, Tonikey and Tora.” He said. I punched my hands into my hands like I had an idea. “Ahh! Is that where I heard those names before!”

“What do you mean Xiaoling?”

“They call themselves Key and Kora.”

“Oh, I see. Let’s sit down and talk about things.”

“No, I’m on a tight scheduled. So I’ll be the one asking them.” I said looking at my siblings.

                -Time skip [cause theres loads of questions]-

“Why did you leave? Without saying bye?” I asked them. Silence. It looks like they don’t want to answer but I want to know.

“I-I. (inhale) I left because I had no choice. Someone forced me and you don’t want to know who because I can’t explain either. I think your brother can’t explain too.” My sister Tora said uneasily.

“Me too.” Brian said.

“Huh? You’re in this too?”

He nodded. “So that means, Tonikey, Tora and you, Brian. Have been in this?” They nodded.

“I don’t know who did this to us but I know his close to all of us, so I left knowing your sister did it to save us from going with them.” My brother, Key or Tonikey said to me. “I’m sorry.” But I didn’t hear because I was thinking of what I heard, the information. “Hmm, then this was no accident. That means we need to make a scene when we are together departing.” They nodded at my idea and we started talking about our plan and nodded.

*stretching arms* “Arhh! Let’s go, their waiting for me. Bye Brian.” I said standing up. He smiled and said, “I think I should come.” Good just on queue. Like I’d planned.

“Are you sure? You don’t have to.” I said, and yeah I added that by accident. Hehe. He nodded and followed along with what I asked. Phew too close! “Well let’s go.” I said and left the café towards where I and Ash and his friends were. I saw a group of kids there. It must be them. I walked faster and shouted, “Hi guys. SOR-?” Who are they? “Oh, sorry I thought you were someone else.” I said bowing. They looked at me and shrugged. And continued doing whatever they were doing. Strange. I turned around and saw my siblings and Brian standing. I walked up to them. “Umm. Aren’t they supposed to be there?” I asked pointing at where the meeting place was.

“HEY! Xiaoling, sorry.” I heard a voice shouting my name and running towards. “Ahhh! Move, I can’t stop!”

“Wah??” I was about to turn around only to find myself falling and hitting the ground with my FACE! “Arhh. OW! HEY GET OFF ME!” I shouted. The person got off immediately. “Sorry, Xiaoling.” They said. They sound oddly familiar. I turned around and saw Ash. “Oh, hi Ash. Where were you?” I asked all a sudden.

“Sorry, I think we lost time and helped someone with something. Hey so what are you going to do with your brother and sister?”

“Huh? Well, I’m not sure. I mean they should stay here.” Phew, quick recovery. 

“Oh, so they’re not coming, I mean they’re not taking you home back to Arrowroot town?” Ash asked.

“No.”

                   -End of Flash Back [End of Xiaoling’s POV]-

“So yeah. I guess they should stay as they were.” Xiaoling said.

“Hmm. I get it now!” Dawn said nodding.

“Hey, wait! We change our minds! We’ll come but your friends must come to, there’s an event back at Arrowroot Town.” A voice shouted. But it was distant. The group kept walking.

“Hey, do you hear that shouting?” Brock asked.

“Hmm. Yes.” Ash said. Dawn and Xiaoling nodded. They turned around to see two people running towards them.

“Brother? Sister?” Xiaoling said.

“You guys walk way too fast.” Kora/Tora said.

“Umm, Kora I mean Tora what do you mean?” Xiaoling asked.

“Kora please. Anyways we decided to come with you and plus there is an event coming soon. I bet your friends would like to come and see it.” Kora said.

“Okay. Then let’s go!”
