Chapter 13: Hi Ash! This Is Time For A Break!

 

Xiaoling’s POV

I’ve been riding for a while until I saw a big gate with ‘Beach Rose Town’ printed on it. “Hmmhp. Well that sign is impossible to see. I wonder where I am. Oh let’s see, Beach Rose Town? Oh geez. You’re right!” I muttered sarcastically and entered the town still riding on my new bike. Then I got off as more and more people appeared on the streets. I continued walking until I saw an unmissable Pokémon and trio. It’s my guides! “Ash! Dawn! Brock! PIK-A-CHU!!!!!” I shouted at the top of my lungs. I started running across to them while rolling my bike beside me. I kept shouting their names and waving my arms. Then I reached them. “Huff, huff. You guys sure do walk fast! *////-////* Sorry. Huff. Why don’t we sit somewhere?” I suggested. They nodded and we went over to a café that also served to Pokémon.

3^rd Person POV       (WARNING!!: THIS PART HAS A LOT OF TALKING!/DIALOGUE)

“Ahhh! That’s better!” Xiaoling said stretching her arms. “Hi!”

“Umm. Where’ve you been?” Ash asked.

“Nowhere in particular! Just some place I’ve been. “ Xiaoling answered smiling.

“Okay…”

“You seem really tired.” Brock stated.

“Huh? Is that so? Guess I’m really tired from riding the bike here! Let’s have something to eat!” Xiaoling responded.

Xiaoling waved her hand to get something. A lady in the café’s clothes came to their table. She had bangs clipped to the side and a pony tail that was held up by a red bow. She smiled and asked, “Welcome! ^-^ Would you like something?”

“Sure! I want choc and strawberry ice-cream! Also lemonade! Umm any suggestions?” Xiaoling started.

“Umm….. I say you should try the crêpes.” She answered. “Any more?”

“Yes! I want Fanta and jelly! Also mint ice cream! NO coffee ice cream! No both!” Dawn shouted!

“Uhh? How will we paid for this?” Ash asked. His sweat dropped.

“Oh yeah!” Xiaoling said and sigh. Her, Dawn’s, Ash’s and Brocks’s sweat dropped. “Sorry!”

“No worries. We are always happy for our customers to stay and sit!” She said, then a man appeared. He looked very much someone important. “He look’s tough!” Xiaoling whispered. Dawn, Ash and Brock nodded.

“Hmm? By any chance your name is Xiaoling?” He asked looking at Xiaoling.

Xiaoling gulped and nodded. “Ye-ye-yes…..”

He looked and nodded then rubbed his chin. “Hmmm. Are you really her?” Xiaoling nodded. He smiled and hugged Xiaoling. “Ahh! Long-time no see! Xiaoling, you skirwt!” He shouted.

Xiaoling blinked her eyes and opened it again. “*cough* Ah hem. As since I don’t know you I much oblige but…. NO ONE CALLS ME A SKIRWT! GOT IT!” Xiaoling shouted in rage.

“I never knew she could yell like that.” Ash stated.

“You will never know the key to a girl’s inner self.” Brock said. Ash shrugged.

“Come on! I had played with you since you we’re little until the time you left!”

“Grr. Yeah, well what does that matter and what do you know!”

“Uhh, you left angry and cried and went on a hunger strike until you got sick.” He answered.

“Grrr! *cough* Well no one knows that ‘cept me and my friends and siblings!”

“Yeah, so? I’m your older friend. And I’m not old!”

Xiaoling blinked her eyes and started laughing. “YOU! Ahh! Too long!” She stood up and jumped on him hugging him. “Why!!!!! You idiot! Could’ve said that earlier! Old man!”

“Uhh. Please stop saying that!” Xiaoling smiled and nodded. “Yo!”

“Ah hahaha! No! I’m still the boss of this café! So I’ll give you and your friends a free offer by giving you guys a stay for the night with free food!”

“Ahh! Thank you brother!”

“Brother?”

“Oh no, he isn’t my real brother.” The trio could tell that she chocked on her words. “ Ahh! That makes a lot more sense!” Ash said.

“You have a nice café, sir!” Dawn commented.

“Ah, thank you, I wanted this café to make a kind of nice warm feeling. But this wasn’t my dream job but who cares I’m boss and loving it!”

“Because you like food and-“ Xiaoling said.

“Shhh!”

“And he’s a great cook!” Xiaoling finished putting thumbs up. “And yeah this wasn’t his dream job he wanted to become a Pokémon trainer!”

“Shoosh. Oh look at the time! Time to get back to work and Beccy give them a room!”

The waitress from before; led them to their room. Brock on the other hand, had water coming out his mouth. “Sigh. BROCK!!!!” Dawn shouted in his ear but he did not respond. Dawn shook her head and gave up on waking her friend. “Hey, Xiaoling! Who was he?”

“An old friend! His a great guy to play with like tag!” Xiaoling said.

Dawn nodded. “So a really old friend?” Xiaoling nodded.

“Here is your room!” the lady said.

Brock stood up and kneeled in front of the lady. "Your name is Beccy?” She nodded. “Will you like to go to dinner with me!!!”

The lady giggled and replied, “Oh, that’s so sweet, I’m sure some lucky girl will get you. ^_^” And she walked off.

“NOOOOO!!”

“Ahh, Brock I think she just declined your request.” Dawn said and her sweat dropped. “NOOOOO!” Brock said. Xiaoling shrugged and went in.

“AHH!!! >____< Nice room!!! Just the perfect place to sleep!!!!” Xiaoling shouted and ran to each room and entered one. “THIS ONE’S MINE!” She shouted from the room. Ash sweat dropped and nodded, he then looked at the other rooms and entered one. “Guess the other two is ours.” Dawn said. And they two entered one.

“GUYSS!!! LET’S go and eat their food!!!” Xiaoling screamed.

“AHH! What??? Yeah, I guess.” Ash said running out.

“Okay! Now where’s that phone thingy magigie?” Xiaoling muttered. “HERE!” She got it and ran over to them. “I’ve been to the old version of this place so I knew there should be this. Although I still have no idea what it is…Or more like what’s it’s called.” Xiaoling said.

“What does it do?”

“It’s like a phone! Just that you use it to order stuff. Try it out.” Xiaoling said and pressed a button. “HI!! I would like to have choc strawberry ice-cream. Ahhh, lemonade for drink and crêpes for extra thanks and there’s more coming!“ Xiaoling warned. (A/N: have you notice xiaoling’s change???)

Dawn appeared into the camera and said, “I want Fanta and jelly! Also mint and coffee ice cream!”

“Uhh… Can I have ice cream too? Oh and apple juice also ummmm something for my Pokémon.” Ash said. His Pokémon jumped out from its pokéball and stood out and waved.

“Also I’d like to have tiramisu, pudding, mousse cake and orange juice.” Brock replied. 

“I think that’s all from us!!!” Xiaoling smiled.

“Ahhhhh. I see, your order will come soon.” The guy said with his sweat dropped. “Heh heh.” Click!

“He looks uneasy. I wonder why?” Ash said. (yeah, 'i wonder why?' Ash)

        -Time Skip!-

Ding!

Ash and Brock raced to the door and opened it, revealing food trolleys filled with their order. “Guys! Our food has arrived!” Ash shouted. Dawn ran out and grabbed each trolley inside and said bye to the workers who brought them. “Thank you! Thank you!”

“Dawn? Why are you doing this?” Ash asked.

“Because it’s been such a long time since we had something like this!” Dawn shouted. “Okay let’s start getting our own!!”

Ash nodded and started getting his and then went into his room, followed by his Pokémon holding berries and others. Brock did the same so as Dawn. Then Xiaoling came out and grabbed hers and went in. Then after seconds still carrying her share and went out. She put her food on a table and started setting a table out. “GUYS! LET’S EAT TOGETHER!” Xiaoling shouted. They came out and looked at the table and ran back inside and put their food on the table. “But you won’t get my share!”

Ash and his friends nodded and started eating.

“Nom nom nom.” The group was still stuffing their face with the food they ordered.

“Ahhh, I’m stuffed.” Ash muttered.
