Chapter 7: Great! The First Step to Home is a Long Way Away

 

It has been a few days since the group of Pokémon Trainers and Xiaoling has walked down the path home to Xiaoling’s home, Arrowroot Town. The days had been awful and awkward. Xiaoling was bored while Ash kept trying to make a conversation between all of them.

“So…. Do you have any siblings Xiaoling?” Ash asked.

“Sure, two. A brother and sister. Both older.” Xiaoling answered.

“Okay……. So… What are they doing now? I mean….. Heh heh heh.” Ash said with his sweat dropped.

“Right now my brother is a Pokémon trainer and my sis is gone someplace else in this world.”

“Ahhh…” They all answered back.

“Do you guys have siblings too?”

“Yeah. I have many siblings! I had to look after them too. My parents went away until my father came back and now are looking after the gym and my siblings.” Brock said.

“What? A gym?”

“Yeah. I used to looked after the gym and defeat other Pokémon trainers. I really don’t think we should’ve battle……”

“Oh-kay…..”

Then again they were quiet again. “Um……. How long till we get home?” Xiaoling asked.

“Hard to estimate…. Probably a few more days. But first we’ll be going to Beach Rose Town. Which is a place with a gym. Where Ash can earn a badge. So it will be a while till you get your badge. Okay?” Brock answered.

“Sure! Then I will have a chance to see a Gym fight! Yay!” Xiaoling said sarcastically.

“Really?” they said in union.

“No!” (｡-.-｡) “Sheesh. Why would I waste my time to watch you guys!”

“So, you can learn more about Pokémon trainers?” Ash answered.

“Really now.”

They all shrugged and turned around with their back facing Xiaoling. Oh great. *Face palms* Xiaoling thought.  How many times have I been face palming myself!

“Fine. I’ll come then. But if we get there and I somehow manage to find a better transport to go back home then you won’t need to help me anymore. Understood?”

They nodded back in reply. “So we would still get you there if you don’t find a way, correct?” Ash asked.

“Yup. That’s about it. See, it’s simple for me and you. So how much longer to home?”

“Well since you’d agreed to this then, the route would curve and turned left of us then we will enter the town and that will be a few days. And the probably a few more days to be in there. Then after that we will go and then another few days or just two to get there and yeah. So pretty much a long time. Far off then you thought.” Brock calculated.

“Great, a way home and it would be more than a week to get there. Just GREAT!” Xiaoling said.
