In this book, Theodor Seuss Geisel, more commonly known as Dr. Seuss, tells the story of Sam I Am as he convinces a friend that Green Eggs and Ham are a delicious meal that one would like to taste in many ways and places. This book was written as a Beginner Book with very simple words and repetitive lines for early readers. In this book, Dr. Seuss does not really want to convey a solid message but just wants to make a fun and easy read for small children. What is noteworthy about this book is Dr. Seuss way with words and how he creates rhymes and silly stories that children really love. Again, this book was intended for early readers so I believe that they are the ones who would appreciate it most. This book affects me emotionally as it makes me remember the movie I Am Sam. Compared to other works by Dr Seuss, Green Eggs And Ham proves to be one of the most popular.
