Chapter 13

Parker is a girl.

Lee is a guy.

Rowan is a guy.

I was standing where Ryan buried me. Lee's red eyes looked glazed over underneath the moonlight. He kicked at the grave dirt and turned to Rowan. "Get Parker." 

I watched as Rowan disappeared and in the next second, he was back with Parker. My vampire-longing self noticed that I had vampire vision and all that jazz again while my human self panicked and wondered why I was at my burial site.

Parker bent down and touched the grave dirt. "She's been gone for a while." She let out an animalistic growl in her throat. So, they were talking about me. 

Lee's eyes flashed a hint of gold. "Alexa has betrayed us."

Rowan narrowed his eyes, "What makes you say so?"

"The Trade...." Rowan waited for him to explain. "She's human now." I stifled a gasp. I don't know if they would have been able to hear me. 

I watched the scene unfold. 

After processing the fact with wide eyes, Rowan ran a hand through his black hair. "Wow this is messed up." He chuckled, "I can't believe this."

Parker stood up. "Do we need to hunt her down?"

Lee shook his head, "Not only that, we need to kill her. She has betrayed all of us. We must kill her. A human knows of vampires' existance."

Parker nodded her blonde head. "Where are we going to find her?"

Lee spoke with a solemn expression, "We'll find a way." he whispered.

Then he looked straight at me.

I woke up with a start and glanced around, drawing my blankets around me protectively. 

Then it hit me.

Lee was coming.
